I am not the a person that usually reviews places, but I feel as a business owner in the tourism business this should be addressed. My friend and I went to have drinks at this establishment. It was not busy, there were open tables, definitely overstaffed with servers. I understand that there is downtime and perhaps the rush hour is coming. With that said, we came in and the hostess, Stacy, was amazing, spoke clearly, extremely nice, helpful, funny, she was amazing to deal with. If I had three Stacy’s working for me, I would never worry about customer service. Tables where empty and the terrace had many open spaces. The hostess was nice enough to inform us that we can get one of the server’s attention, get a drink and walk out to the terrace. We tried to do so and were met with server’s pawning us off to other servers. To the point that we were just standing trying to get the attention of a bartender who seemed to be more worried about walking around the bar back and forth doing nothing. I am a customer that is as patient as they come. The cherry on top was that we were the only ones standing behind the people at the bar trying to get a drink until an employee came and asked us to move out of the way multiple times because the convenience to the while there was space to go around. No excuse me or nothing. Al she screamed was, ”this is an active walkway.” As I thought in my head, “ I know it’s an active walkway. That’s why we are off to the side.” Nevertheless, I am a person that takes pride in the work I do, even if it’s what people think is the most unimportant job. Here they have the vibe of people that don’t care if the establishment does well or not. I do understand that it is a place that will always have business but they should remember that this a product of location, definitely not service (except Stacy, she was so great). There was so many things that we had to go through to get a drink that we decided to just leave without ordering. All I can say have the mentality that you are here for skiing and nothing else. This is not a local bar, nor a bar that makes their money in return customer’s. In my opinion this is a McDonald’s...
Read moreIt’s a good place. We have ate the last three days there and everything had been perfect till today. We just had a really bad experience today with our waiter Nick (a short guy with beard) And believe me, I’m not trying to be a Karen but he was really rude. From the moment we got to our table he was really serious, I didn’t care at all, I just thought he was having a bad day. But then, when my mother in law ordered another drink he made faces. I asked him for some ice and he just left, spent like 20 minutes talking with a girl (seated in the table with her, I thought he forgot about the ice) after that, he then decided to bring the ice. When he came he said “the check?” ??? We were still eating, drinking and ordering stuff. It was really rude. I said not yet, my mother in law ask him if he could take away all the empty glasses away and he refused. He then told us that the restaurant was not a lounge, and he wasn’t supposed to bring one or two things at a time (we were ordering like that because family members got there one after the other because… we are at a ski resort after all??? They were skiing. (More than half the party got there from the beginning tho, but of course the people that just got there was going to order ???) He then told us that we weren’t supposed to be there more than 90 minutes (there where a lot of empty tables) I told him “so I can just go outside and then come in and the 90 minutes run again?” They never told us that before. It was really bad, we still left him the 20% tip because my father in law decided that, but he didn’t deserve it. He didn’t even came to take the credit card for the payment, we waited like 15 minutes, my FIL left cash instead because he wanted to go. I hope most of that money goes to the people in the kitchen, bar and hosts. We then were told that he had issues with other guests there. So yeah, food and drinks were really good, the service this time around was not. I still put 3 stars because all the other members of the staff, the food and the drinks, they don’t deserve the 1 star I would give...
Read moreSo the food was alright and the atmosphere was what was expected from a grill being in park city. We used a $200 gift card from my work to pay for our $105 meal. (2 loaded fries, 2 nachos, 1 artichoke dip, 1 rootbeer) The server ended up making a mistake which charged my card the full $105, and then proceeded to charge the remainder of my card to pay the bill. We waited patiently at our table for 30 minutes for our receipt. We then had to go to the manager who passed us off to the assistant manager working on the item. He told us that we still owed $11.50 on our bill, and I said that shouldn't be the case, the card had $200 on it. He told us that the card didn't have that amount on there, but we can call and check. So we called Park City resort to get info on my card in which they told us they charged the card 5 times. to which the Assistant manager asked to speak to that person. He told them that they had charged our card for the full bill to start with, and it errored out (He didn't tell us this, just asked us to pay the bill). Afterwards he said he apologieses and we need to go to the ticket office to get it corrected. When we got there, they told him it wasn't their responsibility or side to fix the error from Legends, so we went back to the grill. He told us he would comp the $11.50, and gave me back my gift card telling me he would get it fixed in the coming week and get back to me. I haven't heard anything from him, Legends, or Park City yet. So I'm essentially just out the $200 on a $100 lunch. This took 1.5 hours in total from when we got our bill to when we actually left, after the 1.5 hours of waiting and...
