Update 2: I have alerted the Alabama Health department to inspect this location. The cancelation policy is bullshit when the rooms are physically inhabitable. I want my money back. Update to respond to owner: I want my money back. The rooms were inhabitable and we couldn't even stay here. You sticking to your no-cancellation policy is absolutely absurd when no one can safely stay in a room with roaches. There were no other rooms safe for us to stay in. You failed to accommodate moving us to a safe room to where we physically couldn't stay here. You took my money without providing the services we were requesting. I also reported your business to the Alabama Health Office. Your practices are outdated and disgusting. And judging by other reviews, we are not the first ones this has happened to. I hope others take time to read these reviews. Booked through Expedia. Went through expedia for a refund and the manager is not approving of my refund. So here is a photo of the inhabitable rooms with roaches. Do not stay here unless you want to sleep with roaches. First room was room 109 on first floor, which had the one big roach. They moved us to a smoking room on second floor in the upper corner, 217. The room reeked of smoke, bad. As soon as we walked in you could see the little bugs behind the door and crawling across the floor near the bed (second picture). Absolutely disgusting.

Quality inn is great place to stay. Room is clean and hygiene. Price is also reasonable. They provide all the toiletries, if you forget any you can contact to front desk. Plus they also provide breakfast, but due to this pandemic no breakfast. Only coffee and juice. Bed is also very comfortable “BUT in this location the bed make a lots of noise. When you change the position while sleeping, or you move , it make a noise and disturb your sleep. Management have to take this matter very seriously.”Others things is okay. You can go throw the picture which I have added. That’s why I gave only 3 stars.

Great customer service and a convenient location. Worn, tarnished furnishings in our hotel room (ex: desk and side chair had visible rips on the seats and were stained). Carpet needs replaced. Entry is from exterior. Ice machines were empty throughout our stay, but that may have been due to a work crew that were also staying. Bedding was clean, but the pillows were unusually small and most likely quite used - they were about the size of travel pillows.

You get one star for a comfortable bed.

First- I booked a lower level room, but we got a top floor room- so beware if you’re unable to climb stairs.

The hotel room was absolutely disgusting. And I’m sure they knew it. I called the front desk within the first minute of waking in the room and they wouldn’t even answer the call. The smell hit before anything else- the nice smell of mold, body odor, and dead body- real pleasant. If the room wasn’t non-refundable, we would have left with our money and found somewhere else. I assume al the rooms smelled bad- my daughter looked up reviews and that was the top complaint.

The comforters were not clean and one of my pillows was filthy. At least my sheets looked brilliantly cleaned underneath, but I didn’t realize that the ones on my (adult) daughter’s bed were filthy. If I’d realized that, I would have really demanded a new room. And the bed is the deal-breaker for me in all things. If I can’t be comfortable sleeping, what’s the point.

The bathroom counter looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks- it had stuff caked up on it- only in spots, but still- ew. One of our hand-towels was even dirty. So if they aren’t even changing the hand-towels….

Just don’t do it. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!! I had sinus problems all night from the moldy room (even though I was eventually nose-blind to it).

We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t speak to whether it was worth it or not. There were apples, waffles, and what looked like old cereal. So we went out for food. But the breakfast drinks were good.

The staff clearly did not want to hear how bad the rooms were. There was a sign to drop your room key in the basket to check out. There was no basket. Finally the woman at the counter looked at me and pulled the basket from behind the counter. I politely (seriously- it’s not her fault the hotel sucks) told her the room needed to be cleaned, the beds and towels need to be changed, the stench was unbearable- and she just acted like it was nothing. I guess that’s why you just put your key in a basket- so they don’t have to hear...

The Quality Inn Pelham (exit 246) is a super convenient and safe area! Located across the street from the beautiful Oak Mountain State Park (behind the Juicy Seafood Restaurant). We are newly renovated, and are still in the process of working on changing more in the coming months.

We are a 62 room property with a mix of room types available;

•4 Handicap accessible rooms with a Queen bed in each •2 non smoking queen's with a Queen bed •2 smoking King sized •4 smoking with 2-Queen beds (QQ) •34 non smoking with 2 Queen beds •22 non smoking King rooms

*NOTE: Smoking rooms are off to the side, not inter-mixed with the non-smoking rooms 🏼

All of our rooms come equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, updated coffee pots, iron & ironing boards, blow dryers and flat screen TVs with a plenty of channels (including a lot of movie channels).

We offer a FULL HOT breakfast in the mornings from 6:30-9:30 and have coffee available in the lobby 24-7.

Our staff is by far the best we’ve had yet and there is always someone at the desk to help when you need it.

*Front Desk staff is welcoming, warm, attentive, friendly, caring and hospitable and are constantly getting great reviews from our guests and love to hear how we’re doing.

*Housekeeping is thorough, organized and keeps our rooms and the property looking great and comfortable.

*Management is caring, respectful, concerned and responsible at making sure that the guests needs are taken care of with the best customer service possible.

*Maintenance is up to date on caring for the properties well being and making sure that everything is fixed and working properly.

We invite you to come stay at our property and experience our awesome Hotel for yourselves!!

We also welcome CLC guests!!

We recently stopped at the Quality Inn in Pelham on our way to Florida for family vacation. Loved it so much that we stopped again on the way back home. This is going to be our new half way stop spot.

Great area, both safe and extremely convenient. The rooms are well maintained by housekeeping staff and cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect, other than being a bit overcrowded, but we just took our breakfast into the lobby sitting area and chit chatted with staff and fellow guests.

The staff here is really exceptional! 5 stars all the way just for all of their hospitality and southern warmth. Donna, the HK super is very thorough and always super busy, but never too busy to stop and make sure that we have everything we need. Both Rita and Crystal checked us in the evening of our first arrival and they both checked us out while also running breakfast like a bunch of pros! They are truly a great team with lots of personality! Tilman the manager was very welcoming with his help and information that he provided on our second stay at check in and Victoria was pleasant the morning of checkout and went out of her way to make us some “road coffee”.

The rooms are decently priced especially compared to a few other hotels in the area that we had looked into.

The only thing I’d change about this Quality Inn, are making the breakfast area bigger and changing the older style artwork in the room and then replacing the “ugly” bedspreads with something more modern (but they did mention that there was an upcoming remodel in the near future).

GREAT STAY 100%! Thanks so much Donna, Crystal, Rita, Tilman & Victoria for welcoming us warmly. We will defiantly see you guys on...
