The building looks freshly painted, but some wear and tear is evident. I was greeted warmly by the front desk receptionist. Other employees were equally cordial. The king room was spacious and clean, with good air circulation. The bed was comfortable. The switches for the wall lights above the nightstands require a long stretch from the bed. A notepad and pen are thoughtfully provided next to the telephone on a nightstand. But the telephone didn't work because the cord between the base and the handset was disconnected. I plugged it back in, but it wouldn't fasten securely. I was able to use the phone by holding the connection together with my free hand. The alarm clock on the nightstand wasn't plugged in and there were no visible outlets nearby. I suspect there was one available somewhere behind the bed, if one wanted to move the mattress, box spring, or bed frame. The TV is an ideal size for the room. The picture and sound were quite good. The remote had a channel name [call sign] listing, but there's no "info" guide for what is playing, nor which local channels carry the four major networks. The shower head leaked a bit and sprayed a little water on the floor when the curtain wasn't closed while starting the shower. But hot water was instantaneous, and the well-pressured spray was invigorating. The office desk is spacious enough for two people using laptops. The desk drawer was off track, which I corrected by removing and replacing it correctly. The most aggravating part of my stay was the arduous process of connecting to the internet. It took about 40 minutes, including a 20 minute phone call (holding in the handset cord!) to the provider (Deep Blue). They ultimately had to "white-list" my laptop to allow a connection. And no, there's nothing wrong with my laptop, operating system, or browser. The internet speed however, once connected, was very fast indeed. There was a single ice machine for all 50 rooms. It's located near the lobby, which was about a 4 minute round trip from my corner room on the top floor. The temperature during my stay was in the mid-90's, so I hoped to cool off in the outdoor swimming pool. But that would have been ill-advised, given the translucent, avocado-colored water. The included breakfast service was good, with hot food offerings in addition to the usual cereals, fruits, juices, breads and pastries, etc. Tasty coffee, too. In short, the motel staff was cordial and courteous, the room was clean, the price was great, and I did sleep well. But the numerous annoyances might lead you to spend more for one of the other...
Read moreI’m writing this in hopes that this doesn’t happen to anyone else and to warn other tenants to never leave your expensive devices in your room when you leave it, even if it’s just for a little while. My $300 gaming console was misplaced by the housekeeper named Doris. She claimed that she cleaned the room out, put my Nintendo switch in my personal bag, and left it in their front office. I returned to my room after visiting my family to a completely cleaned out room as well as all of my personal belongings completely gone. I paid for two nights here, which I have receipts for, so there was no reason whatsoever that my belongings should have been removed at any point during my stay. The girl at the front desk gave me my bag, to which my clothes were in, but no gaming console. We have since reported the gaming console stolen as well as spoke with an Officer about an investigation to be held.
Again, I am reminding everyone to not leave any expensive items as well as anything that is sentimental to you in your rooms. This happened on Thanksgiving which is really unfortunate. This device was therapeutic to me in many ways and it hurts me to know that people’s dishonesty gets in the way of true humanity. I will delete this post once I’m reimbursed or if I get my personal belongings back.
If the manager wants to personally contact me (he/she wasn’t here tonight) so I wasn’t able to talk to her, only the girl at front desk was available.
I DO however want to thank the sweet girl at front desk for being so kind and patient with me as well as speaking with the officer.
Things will get handled and yes, property can be replaced; but negligence as well as property misplacement and theft on a count of an employee is not cool.
I also want to state that the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. Just don’t bring your expensive items. Much love.
Update, still no sign of my personal belongings that were stolen from me. It’s funny how the owner can respond to all the other reviews besides mine.
This place is a joke. Do not stay here. Another update: Still no response from LISA THE MANAGER. What an unprofessional lady.
UPDATE: So after almost 2 years of no response from the owner, they finally reply. Shittiest response ever, might I say. I left my belongings in a LOCKED room that was stolen from YOUR establishment by YOUR housekeeper, yet I am the one responsible. You people are just awful. Customer...
Read moreThe only reason that I am giving this location a star is because you can’t give it zero stars. We booked a room came to check in the staff was rude. We went to the room and it was covered in roaches. I’m not saying that we saw a roach. I’m saying when we open the door and light was shed into the room. An insurmountable number of bugs begins scurry around the room. The walls came alive with these creatures. When I went straight back to the front desk and told the gentleman that I would be needing a full refund for the room charge, he stated “your room is prepaid” turned around and walked away. Ignoring me while I called our third-party vendor about the issue. I stay in hotels, about 15 days a month and this was by far was the worst service and the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Update: My third party made contact and the hotel refused to give a refund for the room.
Update, hello Lisa, in response to your reply, I had no stay at Ramada, and will never ever be back at any Ramada ever. I will include your email here to me in response to my request for a refund on a stay that I could not use due to how your hotel is completely infested with roaches. There is no need for a reply you have been very clear how little you care about the...
