Located at a once favorite local American Buffett for the locals is now a Chinese buffet...but better. The buffett consists of the familiar dishes and sauces. There is a dessert table, cold side dishes and salads, An authentic Mongolian Grill (not a flat top grill), sushi table, seafood table, familiar chinese dishes (sweet sour, sesame chicken, and a version of Honey Walnut Shrimp..minus the walnuts) small area that covers the familiar american dishes. The soup table consists of egg drop, won ton, and, hot sour soup (Tom Yum). What sets this buffett apart from the others, the obvious...the Mongolian Grill. The pre cook bar consists of your normal sauces, vegetables, proteins, and starches. The things that make this bar stand out, the sauces. You have to try spicy and bourbon. Also, udon noodles instead of the familiar Lo Mein Noodle. There were a handful or so of dishes that are unique to the local chinese buffets in the area. Fried squid, steamed flatfish (flounder), country boil (crawfish, shrimp, louisiana sausage, potatoes, and corn), and Fried Mochi balls w/ red bean. This location is reasonable priced and is packed on Sundays. It's worth both the wait and money.

King Buffet is literally the Golden Corral of Mongolian grills. They have something for everyone. If you don't like the typical Mongolian grill fare, you can opt for fried chicken, pizza, french fries, and crawfish from the different steam tables. Overall, if you leave this place hungry, it's your own fault. The vast assortment is staggering. Don't let the price dissuade you from dining, because everything is included -- no al a carte add ons. Everything from appetizers, soup, salad, main entree and dessert is included. Children 3 and under eat free, up to 6 only $6.99. The only down side is that there is almost too many choices. It's what I call a cross contamination of foods when you start in one ethnic dining pathway and continually stray into other non-fusionable areas. If you are not careful, your taste buds will become confused. It's better to stick with a single genre. I only gave King Buffet three stars because I kept comparing it against another Mongolian grill in the area -- Yummy Bowl at Wildwood. Although Yummy Bowl does not have the variety and many items are priced a la carte, I believe the food quality is superior.

Fantastic Mongolian seafood buffet in Pelham! I’ve been four times now with co-workers and family and had an excellent experience each time. Lunch is $11.50 and drinks are $2.50. Dinner is $15.50 (the dinner buffet also had a few more selections than lunch crab claws being one of which), kids 3-6 are $5 and 7-11 are $8. Under 3 are free. My favorite part of the buffet is the Mongolian hibachi bowls. You can go fix a plate of ready to cook foods that have been prepared (ex. Lo Mein noodles, broccoli, onions and green peppers, pineapple, then choice your proteins; imitation crab meat, chicken, beef, shrimp. Then you select which sauce you’d like them to top it with after they have cooked it (I like bourbon and teriyaki )even some powder if you’d like Cajun seasoning is great. Then they have some oils and yummy sauce as well as Salt and pepper. You give them the plate they give you a number and they take the same number and cook it up fresh for you then you come back up in 5 min or so and grab your delicious bowl of hibachi!

I went to dine here today , and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. From the unwelcoming staff to the unsanitary conditions and cold food, this restaurant fell short of my expectations on multiple fronts.

First and foremost, the reception and cashier staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Their lack of courtesy and indifference towards customers was disheartening. It seemed as though they were more interested in rushing through their tasks rather than providing a pleasant dining experience. The absence of basic customer service skills was disappointing and left a negative impression.

Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. The buffet area appeared disorganized and unclean, with food spills and dirty plates left unattended for prolonged periods. This lack of attention to hygiene was not only unappetizing but also raised concerns about the overall safety and quality of the food.

Adding to the disappointment, the food served was consistently cold. It was evident that the dishes had not been properly heated or maintained at the appropriate temperature. Cold food not only compromises the taste and texture but also raises concerns about food safety and freshness. This aspect greatly diminished the overall dining experience. Considering the unfriendly staff, unsanitary conditions, and consistently cold food, the pricing was unjustifiable. I expected a higher level of quality and service for the amount paid.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend King Buffet due to the unwelcoming staff, unsanitary conditions, and consistently cold food. Improvements in staff training, cleanliness, and food quality are imperative for the restaurant to regain customer...

I just want to start this out by saying that 4 stars is being generous I wanted to rate it a 3 but I'll get into that later. I'm not a huge fan of Asian buffets, or buffets in general for that matter, but I was invited by some friends and went but, this place was pretty decent. Everything was clean, the food was nicely organized and there was plenty of it! The food, for being from a buffet, was surprisingly good it was probably the best buffet food I've had. All this being said the food has good flavor and tastes somewhat fresh. My server though is why I wanted to rate it 3 stars. She refilled our drinks only 2 times over the course of an hour and a half, my buddy can throw down lol, but when it came time to pay she handed everyone their tickets and just stood there. She stood there waiting like we were going to run out of the building without paying. Once we had all given her our cards/payment it took her at least 5 minutes to bring them back to us. I can understand being busy because I've worked in a restaurant before but taking 5+ minutes to take someone's payment is absolutely absurd ESPECIALLY in a buffet because your only responsibilities are to keep food in the buffet, refill drinks, and take payment. So all this being said 4 stars is extremely generous and against my better judgement but I won't hold the company liable for a possible one time...

We chose this restaurant as a graduation dinner for our 2 teenagers. The food was pretty good but the service was offensive and unwelcoming. Our waitress, along with about 6 other staff members, stood and watched us the entire time. Our waitress came over and asked us how many checks and who was paying for what? I told her that was rude and ask her to please let us enjoy our family time. She went back to stand with her crew and they continued to huddle up and look. She came back 3-4 more times asking who was paying. I kept asking her to STOP!! She came back again but this time she went directly to the CHILDRENS end of the table and asked them their ages. THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW. You don't interrogate peoples kids. I flagged down another staff member and asked them to help. She backed off slightly but even when she came to refill the drinks, before she grabbed a cup, she would slowly walk around us as if she was looking for something. I could be wrong but it gave the impression of "too many black people, make sure they don't steal food". I did my best to keep a smile on my face and make sure my family, especially our graduates, had a good time but personally I DID NOT APPRECIATE the...
