I arrived here after a four hour trip( im traveling home from vacation still have 4 left to go) stopped here because anytime I have it is a safe option for my allergy. The first waiter we had was not knowledgeable at all of gluten free when I asked for the gluten friendly menu. Second waitress that came over who was then our permanent waitress also unaware telling me they did not have an actual gluten friendly menu. I then asked if the kitchen staff could even prepare for a gluten free meal I was assured they could and she asked if it was as severe allergy and I said yes. That it was a very severe reaction and that if I consume gluten could die. Luckily I have medication to take if I consume gluten accidentally. When our meal arrived my chicken that I ordered was ice cold. I took one bite then a bite of my potato and ate a bite of corn thats when I got skeptical because it was heavily seasoned. I immediately stopped eating and had to act fast. The waitress never came to check while everyone was eating finally when it came time to pay she came back asking if we needed boxes. Never asked if anything was wrong as to why I still had a full plate and I went to speak up and she turned around and walked away brought to go boxes then I stopped her as she went to turn around again and told her about my food. She got a manager who then told me thwy in fact have a gluten friendly menu they were supposed to give me when I asked and asked if they wanted me to have them remake it. Of course I said no because everyone was done and ready to get home and they couldn't get it right the first time so why now? We also ordered fried pickles and never got them. My daughters steak was cooked to perfection. My husbanda fish was tough my son's chili they brought him was cold and my mom's food was just OK. But they didnt want to hear how bad everything was. Will never go back. I should've just stayed hungry. Its sad that we waited 30 minutes to be seated over an hour for our food and I had to leave there still hungry and with a swollen throat due to them not being careful. I'd rather them tell me that they couldn't accommodate for my food allergy rather than have an allergic...
Read moreMy husband and I enjoy going to this restaurant usually. We haven't been in a while, so we decided to stop by on a whim. Wish we had chosen somewhere else. From the moment we arrived was told it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to be seated, so we put our name in and received our first text letting us know we were on the wait list, shortly after received a second one to tell us we were on deck and needed to get in line so we did. Now I know lots of people sign in online but we literally watched as others were signing in like we did at the desk and myself and about 3 other parties began to notice how people who signed in after us was being seated. So upon asking how much longer this is when all of us who had been waiting for over 45 minutes to be seated finally have our tickets pulled to be seated. Finally, after we get seated, our drink orders are taken along with our food order as we had plenty of time to view the menu and be ready to order once we got seated well now the wait begins for drinks, another server arrives at our table to let us know the budweiser my husband had ordered was unavailable so he would have to settle for something else. My tea finally arrives with no lemon so I again asked for lemons that I finally got half way through the meal. We had to ask for straws from 2 other servers. Our salads arrive still no beer so now my husband is drinking from my glass after we finish our salads my husband's beer finally arrives 25 minutes after we finish our salads our dinners finally arrive at which time my husband asks for a second beer as well as condiments for our meal none of these arrived until after we had finished eating. I asked for the manager, but no one came not even to bring us a check I ended up paying for our meal on the tablet that was on our table. So to say I was disappointed is an understatement I ended up spending money for a meal that the only thing that was worthy of paying for was the salad. I sincerely hope this review get the attention of someone in charge so that this restaurant is not yet another failure that...
