Circle K — Local services in Pelham

Every single time I stop in this place to spend money the register attendant is on their phone and has something rude to say. This morning, however, the attendant was nowhere to be found. I, and another guy, waited no less than five minutes before she came out of the back, handed me what I asked for while talking on her phone, didn't acknowledge me, rang me up and didn't verify my ID. She then left me standing at the register, unable to complete my purchase, for another five minutes. I went back in the back and dropped a $20 bill, $4 more than my purchase, and told her I wasn't waiting anymore. Hopefully the manager of this place reads this. I never go in there that someone is not rude. I'll drive a little out of my way from now on to avoid this place. It takes a lot for me to waste time writing a review of a gas station, but this...

We have been stopping here for 30 years to get gas leaving Hoover for Mobile. The attendant wás on her phone. My husband needed to fill out car so with the attendant talking to her buddy I was told older people don't like our system you need to self checkout put more money in the self check out and the scan the receipt to get your change. In all the explaining she only helps truckers I am fifty she may feel like that is old but I would have fired her on the spot if she worked for me. The elderly gentleman behind me was super frustrated too. Let's just say... They will not miss our business but we will never fill up or shop...

Buyer beware, typical Circle K experience at the pump regarding no paper for receipt. I had hoped since it was newer branded than the one across the street it would be better and cleaner. But this one takes the cake with different price for cash verses credit that is less than obvious. The sign apparently changes but I didn't see it when I glanced at the price from the road. While not illegal in Alabama it is uncommon for this area. So of course, I have to go inside and hunt for an employee to print my receipt.
