Starbucks — Restaurant in Plymouth Township

I was at this location yesterday morning and the wait time was ridiculous. The employees were working diligently but maybe they need a better system. The girl who was taking orders at the register was also preparing all mobile food orders and tea beverages. I waited 20 mins in line just to pay for a fruit package . Not once did the employee say thank you for your patience I will be with you in a minute. She took one order at the cash register then walks away to prepare other orders, we noticed eventually because some of us were confused. I also seen that some staff were on break so I did take that into consideration but for a morning visit a better system needs to be in place. I almost left out just because of the wait and two other customers were...

This place gives Starbucks a bad name. I keep meaning to write their DM and corporate because the service isn't anywhere up to par with the other 20 or so locations I've visited in my area. Order ahead? Why bother. My wife has even been told NOT TO because they are too busy to make online orders... while the staff makes drinks for themselves or even just walk off the floor because it's busy and they don't wanna deal. I've worked in the service industry but repeated bad visits give none of that doubt that it was just walking in at a bad time. Go to the Plymouth Meeting location by the mall. The extra 7 minute drive is worth it since you'll probably just be ignored by the staff at this location for upwards...

2/14/25 Update: They put the straws back out!! Unfortunately there is a newer guy making the iced shaken espressos most mornings, and he can’t make the drink correctly. It’s extremely sweet and milky and light in color. He is adding way too much milk and not enough ice. I also think he may be adding classic syrup in addition to flavored syrups even when you take the classic syrup out bc it tastes like sugar. Had to throw the last one out. These drinks are made incorrectly at a lot of stores, but this location used to get it right by far the most of all the Starbucks in the area. It’s so sad.
