Last time ever going to an "authorized" store. More than half the products not on display or dummy units, unlike at a regular flagship store. Apparently there's a safe that employees have to wait 10-15 mins to access to see if a phone that was ordered is even there. Oh and store manager is off on Sundays. So during the holiday season and possibly busiest day of the week there is no manager to speak with to help resolve issues. How convenient. Pretty sure flagship stores don't operate like that.
Went there to pickup 2 phones to upgrade from an order we made on Black Friday. Rep found one but said the other must not have arrived because he didn't see it. Found our email showing that both phones were indeed delivered. Not sure why reps system couldn't show him it was delivered. Rep went back to check and 20 mins later finally came out and said he had to check another safe, so told us to walk around mall for 10-15 mins bc he couldn't access it due to safety procedure. We waited there instead. Rep went back to check and couldn't locate it.
Told us that phone we ordered was sold to another customer! 1) why couldn't he tell us that from the beginning? 2) how the heck does that happen?!
We called VZ wireless customer service on our phones directly while there. They tried to locate phone at other VZ stores in area, but it was sold out. Told us earliest it could arrive was 2 days later. We agreed to that, but asked rep in store if we can have assurance that promo we signed up for will be honored by printing something showing it's in their system. Of course we're told they can't do that. So VZ can lock you in on deals made over phones, but they can't provide any print out to help customer know they will honor a promo after they screwed up?
Were we difficult and unhappy customers after being there for over 2 hours trying to get this resolved? Yeah we were and rightfully so. Don't tell us you can't provide anything to guarantee a promo we signed up for will be honored after your store messed up. So after hours there we walked away frustrated and empty handed. Never going back in there again or any store that has TCC on it.
Forgot to mention that rep we originally got help from on Black Friday wasn't available due to child being sick. Hey it happens and I totally get that, but bc they work off of commission we were told that's the reason a call was never made to inform that the phones arrived. REALLY?! So not one other rep or manager could handle contacting customers bc they all work off commission, but instead have those orders just sit there?...
Read moreThis store used to be a great store to go to. My family and I have been coming here for years. Rodney, TJ and Reese were the reasons we kept coming back, they had fun and were funny while still maintaining professionalism but rodney is no longer there and his absence is noticeable. Unfortunately the last two times we were in the store, we had bad experiences with Jake or Jeffrey. whatever his name is. First time we came in, another worker named Jaden was busy with a customer while Jake sat in the back the whole time on his phone, even when other customers started walking in. I'd like to thank Jaden for his patience with us but Jake, he's a very poor worker, one thing I will say is hes actually a sales associate just like everyone else, but he tries to act like a store manager, a very bad one at that. The fact that hes still there shows the incompetence of upper management.
This brings me to the second encounter with Jake. A female worker and another worker once again had customers while Jake like usual sat in the back not taking customers, this time we walked back to have him actually do his job. At first he was acting very professional and kind until he realized we weren't in the store to buy anything, after that he started talking down to us and trying to get us out the store as if we were a hassle to deal with. He dumped us on the female worker once she freed up only for him to sit back down and go on snapchat instead. When he stepped out the store, it felt fun to be in again, even the workers were more open and laughing. Jake seems like a blackhole of fun and even his coworkers seem to have issues with him.
TCC needs to get RID of Jake IMMEDIATELY! He only bothers with you if you want to buy something and he dumps people and work tasks on his coworkers while he sits on his phone as evident by the few times we've been in. If I could give a 0 star I would. My family always comes to this store to get phones and cases and stuff but as long as hes there, this store is dead to us. Read moreWhere to begin??? Tom was awesome!!! My wife was having issues with her phone and I was long overdue for an upgrade. Tom walked us through all aspects of our current plan and the different options we had. This was only after he took the time trying to address the issues with my wife’s phone. We ended up both going with the Apple SE. What made me take the time to write this review (I have NEVER written a review before) was the time, knowledge, and patience Tom took with us. He literally spent hours with us transferring ALL of our content to our new phones. He provided me with his personal phone number and further answered questions we had (we are NOT tech savy people). The conversations we had while he was assisting us were as if we had been friends for years (be sure to wish him good luck on his upcoming marriage)! If you are EVER in need of a upgrade or cell phone service, I would undoubtedly recommend seeking Tom out as your associate. He is the best and I wish him nothing but the best.
