Namaste India Cafe — Restaurant in Redlands

This restaurant is fantastic. Everytime my family goes out for Indian food we order shahi paneer and garlic naan. We’ve had a LOT of Indian restaurants and have had our fair share of bad naans and paneers.

This restaurant has some of the BEST shahi paneer and naans we have tried. The paneer was very flavorful with a rich sauce. There were very generous portions and lots of paneer. A lot of the times restaurants skimp on the amount of paneer used but not this restaurant. Additionally we asked for medium spice level and the flavor was fantastic with a little bit of heat. Everything tasted fresh and the restaurant was very clean.

The naan was definitely one of the better naans in the area. Light, fluffy, but also crispy. You can tell it is made fresh in a tandoor. A lot of restaurants take shortcuts but not this place.

They have a lunchtime combo bar where you can get combos instantly during the day which is super convenient. Rather than spending the same amount on chipotle, I’d definitely get a 2 item combo for lunch! If you enjoy Indian food, this restaurant is...

In their soft opening. Tandori oven not installed yet. We usually order medium spice, but as a fist visit, we ordered mild. The chicken biryani is flavorful with large chunks of chicken. The samosa were pleasantly spiced and not as hot as some other places. Chicken momos as good as the best I get in Milpitas (near home). The aloo gobi was full flavored and not overcooked (something I've seen at some other places). The naan was not as toasty as I expect, but I belive that will be resolved when the tandori oven is installed (probably February 2025). Will do this place again next time...
