Disappointing Experience at Restaurant Ramen 101
I recently visited Restaurant Ramen 101 and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite my initial excitement to try their renowned ramen dishes, my visit left me dissatisfied on multiple fronts.
First and foremost, the orders my party and I placed were incomplete. The main ingredient, meat, was conspicuously missing from our bowls of ramen. This oversight significantly diminished the quality of our meals and left us feeling unsatisfied.
What compounded the disappointment was the response, or rather lack thereof, from the restaurant manager. When we brought the issue to their attention, they were far from accommodating in addressing our inconvenience. Their indifference to our concerns left a sour taste in our mouths, and it felt like they didn't value our patronage.
In any dining establishment, customer satisfaction should be a top priority. Mistakes can happen, but it's how they are rectified that truly matters. Sadly, Restaurant Ramen 101 fell short in this regard.
I hope that Ramen 101 takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving their service and ensuring that such lapses in quality and customer service are not repeated. Dining out is not just about the food; it's about the overall experience, and, unfortunately, my experience at Restaurant Ramen 101 was far from...
Read moreI am little biased because I love Ramen and I tried Ramen from all over the world. I was super excited to see a ramen place so close to my house since we drive to sacramento once a week to our fav ramen place and close is better let alone more opportunities to have ramen. And here is my take on this Ramen 101. On one hand, you can make mediocre ramen if you don't have many competition but I probably won't go there again myself. First and most importantly, Broth is pretty run down. To make rich ramen broth, you need to boil the bone for at least 3 hours with other ingredients such as ginger, onion, leeks, etc. Why? To marry that pork flavor. Ajitsuke egg didn't have any flavor. looked like they took a very short shower I stead of a three day bath. It was just an under boiled egg. This is a big part for me. It also lacked some sort of pickles such as ginger, cucumber, cabbage, radish pickle usually accompany ramen because ramen is pretty rich. I also asked for extra corn and it turned out to be canned. I also don't think bean sprouts really go well with Tonkatsu ramen. They'd be great with miso or vegetarian. Lastly, the service was great and I loved the simple decor. The price was decent for Ramen as well. Maybe I'll try again if I hear about...

The family behind us in line had a child sneezing without covering their mouth repeatedly. The mom even told him please cover your mouth. Child continues to wipe nose and sneezing without covering. The servers brought our food to their table in front of there clearly sick child. The father told the cashier it was not their order. They picked up the food walked it straight to my table and proceeded to try to give me food that had been served to another family. I had to refuse the food. The server was shocked that I wouldn't accept food placed in front of sick children more than 1. Server reluctantly said they would refire our meals. I was so stunned, I was afraid they would reserve the same food to us or do something to it. We left immediately, not trusting the staff to provide clean food.
