There is so much to love about this place including fun ambience, a large patio, bar seating, friendly staff, well timed service and delicious steak. We arrived for our 6:30 reservation and were greeted by a friendly hostess. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted by several friendly bartenders. The bar was well staffed so we didn't have to wait long for drinks. I ordered a paloma and my husband ordered a pilsner on tap. Both were good. I switched to a martini which came with a choice of regular or blue cheese olives. I chose the blue cheese olives, Yum! They offer all the typical vodka brands. When dinner came, I ordered a glass of La Crema Chardonnay.
We started off by having the chopped wedge salad. The blue cheese dressing tasted homemade. The lettuce was cold and crisp. Absolutely delicious. For entree, I had the plank salmon and my husband had their filet. The filet was presented with flare by the executive chef who torched the compound butter until it melted on the steak. At first, my husband was annoyed because the chef did not supply a steak knife. However, we discovered that this was intentional and that the steak was so tender it only needed a butter knife. It was beyond amazing. On the other hand, the salmon was pretty terrible. It was glazed with a plum jalapeno jelly that belonged on a piece of toast. I couldn't taste the salmon at all. I scraped off the jelly, which helped a little. The steak was so outstanding that it overshadowed the terrible glazed salmon. I am thinking it simply ordered poorly and that others may like a jelly glaze because the salmon was cooked nicely and the veggies were perfect.
The restaurant itself is well decorated with a fun lively atmosphere. By the time we left 1.5 hours later, the place was getting crowded with very good looking, well dressed patrons. This must be where all the pretty people go. The outdoor dining was ample and under a large tent. In the evening, without the large tent, the patio would still be in the shade because the building blocks the setting sun.
In total, we had 2 cocktails, 1 glass of chardonnay, 3 pilsners, 2 wedge salads, the filet and the salmon and our bill was...

If you want a "happy hour deal" you can get one, yes, one taco for $10. It will even have a cold tortilla shell that tastes like a refrigerator for you! Yeah!
We sat at the bar and the rude bartender walked away in the middle of him talking to us. ...Twice! Yes, it felt like we were in a prank TV show or a comedy skit. We were flabbergasted. We have never been so disrespected at a restaurant before. It was super odd. He never even took our order. He just stayed over making the servers' their drinks as if that was his only job. He was the only bartender there, but he wasn't busy or anything. He was just chillin' on the other side of the bar. To order food we had to ask a waitress walking by.
UPDATE: The food quality and service has seemed to go down. Definitely not worth the price anymore. We found a piece of plastic wire in our food, but it was the portion sizes that were the real disappointment. The taco and elote dish is gone too; huge bummer.
EAT HERE! I have been going to this restaurant for quite some time. We went last night and it seemed quite a bit different. Everything was phenomenal. Service was stellar from the hostess that greeted us with an amazing smile, to the bartender that served us while we waited for our table, to our outstanding server. The male employees all looked super sharp; clean cut with this slick bowtie suspenders combination. The menu has been expanded tremendously too. They have a plate option where you can choose 2 or 3 tacos. I got the two different fish ones and a barbacoa one. All three were so good and stacked full of meat! It even came with this huge piece of elote corn; tons of cheese and spices!! We also had some brie that was called pecan pie brie or something similar to that. It was so delicious. I loved it; salty and sweet. They had an outdoor dining area tent that was well heated. It was such a wonderful experience that we may go there...
Read moreI came here for my birthday dinner because I’d had a nice experience a couple years ago. Sad to say, nobody in this party will be back. We waited quite a while for the server to take drink orders, then waited a long time for the drinks. Waited a long time to order food, and it took almost an hour to arrive. Out of the four burgers ordered, three were cooked incorrectly. Not just a little bit off, but the one requested to be well done was pink to the point of almost rate. It took another 30 minutes to get a re-prepared burger. The two who ordered halibut said it was delicious, but they’ll be stopping at McDonald’s on the way home because there was a total of about 9 or 10 bites on their plates. I donated the bun from my burger to them as well as some fries. I got a little cake/ice cream cup because it’s my birthday, but the server brought the bill without asking if anyone else wanted dessert (they did). When the $10 piece of cake arrived, it was literally a total of 4 bites. We had asked when we were seated if our party could pay with separate cards, and the answer was yes, but when it became time to pay, it suddenly became a hassle. Overall, very slow service, incorrectly cooked food, and some of us left hungry. On a bright note, the drinks were yummy. But very small. As a final comment, I’ve written this while waiting for the bill to be processed, and the server took forever and mixed it up...
