I ordered online, came in to get my food (after the "it will be ready by" time) and only 2 ppl seemed to be working. Thought it might take a while, but I can be patient. About 5-10 minutes pass.
Then like 3 or 4 workers walked into the restaurant from outside, all together (that's not suspicious)....and immediately all start to get to work.
One of them was NOTICEABLY on something. He walks over puts gloves on and proceeds to touch 5 different surfaces (just figeting) like the top of a refrigerator, the wall, and then crossing his arms to where his gloved fingers were in his armpits. Then begins to make food. Turns out this guy is making my food. Gross.
I said something to him and asked to have my food remade...but how about those ppl in the drive-thru?
Watch your cameras from around 6:45pm-7:15 on 7/16. Retrain him. BC that is NASTY (and a health code violation).
I ultimately decided that even though the food was remade I couldn't bring myself to eat it or feed it to my family ($50 thrown away), bc ...what happened all evening before I saw that?
And the fries were cooked first, and sitting in the fryer basket when i first walked up (and continued to get cold while I waited about 20 minutes for the rest of it).
Its fast food and my expectations are low, but not this low. Would you eat food that someone touched after they touched thier armpits and the top of a...
Read moreDrive thru window employee working Sunday night is horrifically impolite about their mistake and he was incredibly put out. Was glued to his phone and seemed offended he had to actually do his job and take his eyes off it for one second. Shoves a dirty bag covered in greasy beef into my hands and slams window shut and says nothing, which left CHUNKS of beef on my clothes and car, which stained my pants with a huge grease blotch. Employee glares the whole time I come back through and gets mad about the polite request to have our missing food item given to me, and had the audacity to say that I shouldn't be rude. Excuse me but what is rude is your total lack of customer service and unwarranted anger at customers for YOUR mistakes. Maybe don't forget people's food if you think it's "rude" for them to just nicely ask for the missing item.
Admittedly I'm rather sick of the attitude a lot of workers around here have that makes them think being lazy and rude to customers is okay and acting like it's the biggest burden ever for them to do the most BASIC aspects of what they are being PAID to do. Maybe don't work if you aren't willing to actually, well, WORK.
It's really rather unfortunate because this restaurant used to be halfway decent with good food and service, but the current workers are...
Read moreUpdate 4/2/2019 Had to take the star I gave just a few months ago. The food had made a great turn around but I have gone there twice in the past 2 weeks and both times they once again gave me bean flavored tortillas and passed them off as burritos. There was a tiny bit of filling inside all 10 burritos. Hopefully one day they will get it right but until then, I'll go to the other Taco Bell across town now that it's built.
Update 1/22/2019 I added a star because the burritos were better when we went there a few days ago. Still not quite there yet but enough to add a star.
Service is good but that's kind of where the good ratings end. I really like Taco Bell's burritos but the burritos at this particular Taco Bell location are more like bean flavored tortillas. At first, I lost my appetite for Taco Bell but went to one in Rolla and realized it's only the St Robert Taco Bell that skimps on the ingredients. When I was in Jeff City I went to Taco Bell and it confirmed that it is not a problem with Taco Bell everywhere, just this location. I will continue to go here because it's the only one near me and if they ever actually fill the burritos, I'll upgrade my rating because I do...
