Nob Hill Inn — Hotel in San Francisco

This is a beautiful Victorian home decorated as such. Due to covid, services were pretty much halted but the room was cute and cozy. We booked the 1 br with a sleeper sofa and this was lots of space for 2. I think it would be a bit cramped if we were 4. We enjoyed our stay however I was REALLY dissapointed not to have a mini fridge or coffee maker. Since we stayed 5 days and the city is SOOOOO expensive, it would have been nice to be able to keep a few staple food items in the room. I made the mistake of shopping on the way to the hotel from the airport and then needed to throw away a lot of food. When I called the front desk to ask, they just said, "sorry your unit doesn't have that". Otherwise, staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Per the discription of this location, the bedroom windows are directly over a busy street. It was VERY noisy at night which did not really bother us as we are both pretty sound sleepers. If you have issues sleeping this might not be the spot for you. This location is about 2 blocks from the bus, uphill, but not bad. It's also just a few blocks to the BART. This is mostly downhill but into a less that desirable neighborhood. We took a lyft for $7. We took some sort of transportation to just about everything as there is not a lot walkable. I came into town for Dreamforce and was delighted by my stay at Nob Hill Inn. The decor is gorgeous and the rooms are super spacious and living room-esque. My room had huge bay windows with ample sunshine and the windows opened so I could catch a crisp breeze. The fireplace is beautifully tiled and functional (electric) which was so cozy. There was a separate room with a desk so I could work and a sofa for unwinding with some TV. 10/10 overall and we will def be back for Dreamforce 2026…to be quite honest, I may come back with my family! ||The staff is also super lovely and can accommodate early check in and late check out.
