DO NOT GO HERE!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I paid 35$ for a straight razor shave, which is a delicate process, explaining to him generously that my boss was very picky about the way my facial hair was kept. REPEATED EXTRANEOUSLY THAT I HAD SENSITIVE SKIN. Yet, Micheal, the man who provided me with the shave seemed more concerned with what was on the television than the paying customer in his barbers chair.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I left the man a 10 dollar tip on good faith and returned to work in a hurry. It wasn't soon after that I caught the glimpse of his work in a mirror.
My face was covered in marks and cuts where his dulled razor scraped against my skin.
ABOVE ALL ELSE HE GENEROUSLY MISSED HAIR ON MY NECK AND CHIN.
It was incredibly unprofessional.
Needless to say I was upset and I returned to The Gentlemens barber lounge to find him closing shop early. He opened the door and offered me the excuse:
"Oh sorry, I didn't see that"
He didn't offer me a refund or anything. He kept asking ME what HE missed when it was clear that his subpar work left a long strip of neck hair.
It's a barbers job to be meticulous. To miss hair on a THIRTY FIVE DOLLAR SHAVE is a complete disaster. I won't be returning here or suggesting this barber shop to anyone.
Behind it's finished and modern exterior lies a laziness that can be found in workmanship. Don't let the looks deceive you: The large television screen in the lobby is merely there to distract the clientele and the employees from the task at hand, and what is most important.
THE HAIRCUT OR THE SHAVE.

Read moreI guess I’ll leave a review as well. I’ve been a customer of Red’s the owner for I want to say a little over a year maybe two years his haircuts are inconsistent. The same cut, never looks the same, He doesn’t like to take his time he rushes, and then he’ll take his time with other clients/customers, Maybe he’s a little discriminating but for $45 you can go to great clips! People gotta remember where you do business and remember businesses only thrive when you treat all customers the same. I wanted a haircut today so I text Red. He stated he was busy during the time I wanted but, with his unprofessionalism he didn’t suggest another time so I took it as if he’s discriminating against me. That’s fine I took my money elsewhere. And I won’t be back. And by the way, if you’re a barbershop, you shouldn’t be running it like it’s...
Read moreI got a regular haircut from Bruno. Clean cut, straight razor on the edges and sideburns, good service. I'd stopped in on a chance just because I've been so busy I didn't have time to go to my usual shop. This place is better than my regular, I'd come back again. A little on the pricey side, but it's a good haircut.
Two additional things:
First - Cash or Venmo only! I didn't know that, but was able to set venmo up and pay. There is an ATM on premesis though. I didn't want to pay the ATM fee so I just slogged through the Venmo setup.
Second - to the person who said that this shop doesn't cut the hair of a PoC... while I was there, the other customers consisted of a hipster, an Asian, a Latino and...a PoC getting a haircut. I don't know what circumstance prompted the review, but to flat out say they won't cut the hair of a...
