Extended Studio Suites — Hotel in San Jose

agreed with the previous review. dont want to overwhelm this review. front desk poor operation. when confronted about the room he looked bewildered at the compliant as if to say the room is fine. lol no its not. sort of insulting when people just straight try to hide. telephone numbers? which one is for front desk. there are no phones in room. no pool. local residents motel live in people loiter, noise level is present, room smells try it yourself. building is worn and dated, wires hanging out everywhere, grounds are not well kept, they tried to mask it with paint and "flooring" hilarious. they need to renovate but im sure its all about $$$$ the room has a mickey mouse attempt to be upgraded, toilet clogged immediately after number 2. no plungers. honestly, i have been to compton,ca i have stayed at sketchy places also. this is one of them. it definitely can be a movie set for drug dealing and prostituion, it just has that vibe. come see for yourself. ibet if they got a contract with a good movie studio they would do well and may have money for real renonovatrions. best part was the bed very...

I’m going to be on my 3rd night of 7 when writing this:

Our room is called the “Deluxe Studio” but there isn’t much deluxe about it. The hallways to our room were a bit smelly and the elevator doesn’t seem well kept, or even sanitized at the least for the buttons. The room we stayed in itself was quite clean, however the bed and the pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Our bathroom lights aren’t as nearly as bright as depicted in the photos. It feels like I’m sleeping on a box spring rather than an actual mattress. The sink in the kitchenette makes a really loud sound when turning it on, almost as if releasing pressure from the pipes.

To be fair, our travel plans suddenly changed and we were in a time crunch to find a hotel that allowed pets. Given the price we paid, I’m sorry to say that I don’t think I can recommend this place nor will look to book here again...

This is one of the worst places you could choose to stay. My girlfriend booked this place for a few nights and was not only given a dirty room upon arrival, but found blood in the room as well. Needless to say she left immediately and did not stay here. When we called to request a simple refund and to share the experience (immediately after leaving the room), the hotel staff not only refused to provide a refund, but they also claimed that it was my girlfriend's fault for leaving and would not be willing to accommodate us or the situation in any way. I am not a person to ever write reviews, but this situation was so deeply concerning that I felt it deserved to be read by anyone who might consider booking...
