Mansión Miraflores — Hotel in San Juan

Absolutely terrible experience at this place. I am going to detail my experience and include a number of photos and videos.

When I arrived everything seemed ok, but late during the first night, I woke to use the restroom, and I found a giant roach running around in the bathroom. I ran back to bed and tried my best to forget what I saw, but as soon as I woke up the next morning there was ANOTHER giant roach dead next to the bed. At this time I messaged the management, and they responded by telling me they'd move me to a new room.

This took the better part of a day, which was not terrible, but the day after I was moved I found a PUBIC HAIR in the complementary Q-tips. Very CLEARLY a pubic hair. To top it off, the other guests in the hotel were coming in very late and screaming, banging things, moving furniture, and generally being very inconsiderate. I brought these multiple issues up with management, and the way they handled the situation is what has lead me to leaving such a negative review. They essentially refused any accountability (they essentially denied and gaslit me about the pube, even though I provided photos) and did nothing to enforce their own rules about quiet hours and courtesy to other guests. Their consolation was offering a $50 refund, which I did not receive, and they did not even give me back the full amount of my deposit.

Their management is terrible, the rooms are dirty, and they do nothing to ensure your stay with them is actually enjoyable. I was unable to relax at any point during my time in their hotel. If you're looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend avoiding this place, because if anything goes wrong they will do little to nothing...

The room was aesthetically pleasing, and the staff was courteous. However, I have a sole complaint. Despite paying an additional fee for a room with a hot tub, the hot tub failed to heat up and emitted a continuous beeping sound throughout the night, which was quite disruptive. Apart from this minor inconvenience, my overall stay was satisfactory. I was deeply disappointed to discover that the hot tub, which I had paid extra for, was not functioning correctly, and no compensation was offered for the...

The location is really close to the main freeway and there the rest of San Juan. The room I rented was super clean and felt like home. It does help to speak some Spanish but all the staff was super friendly and there were no problems that I couldn't solve with using a translating app. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend to anybody that wants a nice day for the affordable price...
