Just came back from a week in Sarasota. We were lucky enough to pick a hotel across from The Bay Park in Sarasota. A beautifully designed space that offered something for everyone in my family. Whether enjoying a peaceful walk along the waterfront, taking in the landscaping, or fishing off the dock The Bay is a special place. But what really makes the experience unforgettable is the warmth and hospitality you’ll find at The Nest. Craig and his amazing team go above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they genuinely care about the people who visit. They're friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile – it’s like visiting old friends every time you stop by, which we did every morning for hours. Lol Craig’s leadership is evident in the positive energy that radiates from his staff. The Nest isn’t just a café or a stop along the trail – it’s THE park experience. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, great protein bowls or my children’s favorite the waffles you'll leave feeling better than when you arrived. Hats off to Craig and the entire team at The Nest – and to everyone involved in making The Bay Park such a wonderful community treasure! Can’t wait to visit again.

I had to give it a one star . It’s an absolute beautiful and family fun park . I do recommend putting up some kind of sighn that states that the park was closed. My people ,I was walking down and didn’t notice a sighn saying the park was closed or hours . if there it wasn’t really lit up for travelers randomly want to take a stroll for being coped up in a hotel Voco . Here’s My experience .I worked 3 weeks stright.went to bed really early and decided to walk about 2 am . as I cross the street from my hotel and got to the end of the park .I heard a loud speaker in the distance saying the park is closed and the cops are being called . Freaked me out ! Lol I was like what happened.I figured they might be talking to me. So I left took some pictures just to give you an idea where they can be placed .So if you can I don’t know how many come to Sarasota but if you come here let some one know that the park is closed. Or mabee I should googled your park first lol but yeah please if you can put a physical sighn saying it’s closed just saying my 2 cents.

My family and I are incredibly grateful to have this beautiful park available to the public. There are indoor buildings where you can view art, venture into the welcome center, the manipal auditorium, and the library. Outside, you can explore the butterfly garden, the shaded pathways and bridges, and make your way to the kayak launch. Beyond that is an open field with a stage where live bands come to play. There is a cute children's playground and sitting areas by the water. This park is dog friendly (leashed) and very family friendly. Just make sure you clean up after your pets and leave the park the way you found it. ✌️ There are garbage and recycling bins located throughout the park and water fountains for people and pets.

Hopefully the right person sees this and the Sarasota Garden Club takes back their garden from letting the Bay rent it out! The Bay has no information regarding pricing on their website. Two months ago I called and sent an email inquiry and never heard back. I had to track them down and go in person. I just wanted to have a 4 person wedding ceremony in the garden and take some photos (no reception, I wasn’t going to bring in any chairs or decor or anything like that). John from the Bay told me that they don’t really do that, they only rent out the building as well at a charge of something like $400 an hour with a minimum of a few hours. He said that because this is a unique situation he would look into it and call me back, which he never did. I’ve left messages for all of the employees there and they don’t return calls. I’ve spoken to people at the Garden Club that said since the Bay took over they charge much more than what they used to charge. Sarasota Graden Club: your little gem of a garden deserves much better representation and management than the Bay Park… please consider taking it back.

You’re literally lying in your response to me! The land of the Sarasota Garden Club is owned by the city of Sarasota and it is FREE to go there to take pictures! You thieves tried renting out the city’s land to me for thousands of dollars. I’ll be filing a complaint...

We vacationed at the Hyatt, which is across the street from the Bay Park From April 15th to April 22nd. We enjoyed this beautiful park every single day of our trip whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or for even just a few minutes of our day. We would walk the paths, sit on the beach and enjoy the view, watch a movie on movie night, or just sit and relax. The park has kayak rentals, eco tours, zumba, yoga, beautiful walking paths, a get out of the sun, covered area and so much more. We had the pleasure of meeting Diana who is the director of the park and such a very nice person. The parks Nest Café has a beautiful menu. We had breakfast there almost every single day, lunch a couple of times and the food is delicious for adults And children alike. The staff at the nest Café are pleasant, helpful, and always offer a smile. The café is spotless as well as the dining area. Craig*, who manages the Cafe offered us advice from the very first day. He gave us advice on where to go, what to do, great restaurants to eat at etc. He was always genuinely happy to see us. He is now considered a dear friend. Please go and enjoy the park for all of its glory. Grab a bite at the Nest Cafe and truly enjoy this part of...
