Cafe Arts — Restaurant in Sarasota

I am so happy I came across this newly opened coffee shop/cafe! The interior is clean and lovely, with ample seating. The staff was friendly and attentive. A local artist is featured in house covering most of the wall space. Lots of great natural light and nice vibe.

Coffee and tea: quality is always appreciated, and it's obvious that's a priority here. A local roaster supplies the coffee, sourcing from various regions and small farms, while Hugo tea is represented as the in-house tea brand. Proper ceremonial grade matcha and some wonderful blends in plastic free tea bags. I love some of the other drink offerings like kombucha, and canned drinks.

Bites: I had a few of the small bites, by a French bakery which were very good. Everything seemed fresh and they have a GF option.

Enjoyed the abundant patio seating and shade available. Just what sarasota needed! Lastly- drinking water is RO, which feels like a perk!

We stopped for an afternoon coffee following a long day of touring at the Ringling Museum of Art and a brief walk through of (what’s left) Ca’D’Zan. We barely arrived before closing time yet the two working were still very pleasant. Two other couples came in and I felt they were also treated very kindly considering they were about to close. The coffee is delicious!!! We each had something different. I had a hot latte yummm, and my daughters opted for cold specialty teas, they could have been specials? they both said they were tasty. I’ll definitely go back. Easy parking makes for an even more pleasant experience. And btw, be sure to use or at least see the bathroom. It’s fabulous...

I was on holiday in Sarasota for a month and Cafe Arts was just a short walk from where I was staying.

I quickly made it my local, and so looked forward to going in for my morning coffee everyday - sometimes even a croissant!

The staff were so warm and friendly and happily chatted. Being a Brit, it was vital to share a few laughs, and we did!

I can honestly say I’ve never felt more welcome in this gorgeous cafe, with its welcoming atmosphere which left a lasting impression on me.

I also attended a few of their live music events which were outstanding.
