Prices reasonable places pretty clean there are a lot of issues in the repairs and maintenance I was there for days and when I was in my room I'd go out to the patio and I noticed State inspectors and looking respect is giving him a hard time I guess he wants him to get caught up with his maintenance schedule and swimming pool and everything but I was there for so I don't have season and I'm sure he didn't have too many people in the motel so that's the reason he was behind on his maintenance schedule and repairs but it's centrally located on Hamilton Avenue around the corner was a fantastic Deli convenience store within 3 blocks either way with many places to tonight the church was only 3 blocks away and the beach was only 3 blocks away and the boardwalk and the amusement met some people that I was acquainted with years ago when I was the RCA serviceman down there for 11 years what agency does a lot of changes but all for the better they had windmills to generate power they had a tram ride that wouldn't run from one end of the boardwalk to the other but I did some research before I went to New Jersey to find the best hotel the reasonable price and there was centrally located to suit my needs and I had my business so I can ducted into days and the rest of the time was vacation and I spent a lot of time and lucky Leo's and I hadn't had a great time and do some of the people down there you know their work at lucky Leo's and they were very nice to me and it was a great vacation the temperature was fantastic it wasn't hot and wasn't cold and of course it was all season and I had the whole place to myself right Italy does IT guy from Philly name crazy Mike elderly guy has a stand and I took pictures of him because I I remember crazy Mike 25 years ago he's just a little older now and and crankier and meaner but if you're not you're one a nice vacation the Jersey Shore cannot be beat I recommend going off season if you go on season prices are very high remember that's New Jersey but I'll tell you A lot of people don't know this the people that live in the Jersey Shore that have businesses there and homes take pride in their communities all the little towns down there and they maintain them in they have very little trying clean fresh are the most of these some of the towns have their own water companies electric companies and utilities so the these things are reasonable but the price of rent and real estate through the roof are they good people and they're friendly and it's an enjoyable wonderful place to visit in Pista Bahamas in Miami and other...
Read moreMy wife and I booked a room for our family to stay on 07/03/2022 here.||When we arrived to check-in at around 7pm and gave our names we were greeted with "There is a problem with your hotel booking! You need to contact Expedia!"||I asked why, and it was explained to us that your website had charged us the wrong price for the room. ||My wife asked whether the room was still available for us and we were told "Yes", so my wife went outside and phoned Expedia as advised by the hotel manager ||(I believe his name to be Hassan Patel).||I told Hassan that my wife had phoned, and was on hold with Expedia, and that as soon as she was able to get through to speak to someone that we would pass the phone onto him so that the dispute over the room cost could be resolved.||It was our expectation that this was how the issue was going to be resolved.||After a short while my wife managed to speak with someone at Expedia, and we went back into the hotel reception, and after catching Hassan's attention, we passed our phone to him so that the issue could be resolved.||I overheard him tell Expedia staff that their software is always giving the wrong prices, that there is a software error, and anyway he had already sold ||the last available room (our room) to another paying customer.||When he returned to us I asked him to clarify what I had just overheard.||He confirmed he had just sold the room to another paying customer, while my wife and I were outside his hotel reception area contacting Expedia, and that it was||all their fault, and he then tried to justify his actions by showing me an email he had received from Expedia stating that they were going to find us a room in another hotel.||I'm not happy.||I said "Look Hassan, you do realize that I'm going to give you a bad review for doing this to us?" (for basically selling the room we had booked right in ||front of us, while we were trying to resolve an issue that was not of our making).||His response, and I quote verbatim was "Get out! Get out you fcking mtherfcker! I tried to help you. Get off my property you fcking mtherfcker!"||I asked him how he had tried to help by selling the room which we were told on arrival was still available for us, to which he responded again with the same verbal ||abuse as above. His elderly father who was behind the reception desk had to block him from approaching me beyond the reception counter.||I left the reception area knowing that nothing could be resolved here.||Disgusting and disgraceful lack of customer service.||My advice is to...
Read moreA first and a last. You walk in optimistic and ready to join your friends for a weekend of fun - you leave feeling cheap and contaminated and not in a fun way. Within seconds of entering the room we could visibly SEE how unkept the room was. There were two refrigerators in the room, one worked with what we think were traces of rust across the front. The other refrigerator wasn’t even plugged in and smelled terrible. The mattresses were filthy with all KINDS of stains covering them. Our room had 3 beds and all 3 contained sand on top of the comforters which is bizarre because we JUST checked in. The room is usually SUPPOSED to be clean when you arrive, right? There was garbage underneath the beds/dresser in the sense that when they sweep they clearly just sweep everything “under the rug” literally. Well now that you’ve heard the lavish layout of the bedroom let’s take you to the bathroom. Hair. Hair everywhere. Hair on the floor and in the shower. I mean I thought I was checking into an inn, not a barbershop. The toiletries (soap/lotion/shampoo) bottles were empty/halfway used.. All of this just within minutes of entering the facility. We figured this must have been some kind of misunderstanding or perhaps they missed our room. We got ready and went to the beach, as we left out we let the front desk know about the situation and figured that by the time we came back in a couple of hours the issues would be solved. Although they threw some random soaps on a table for us, they did not spruce up the bathroom. After going back down AGAIN to report this they finally sent someone up, she goes in the bathroom with cleaning supplies and after no more than 5 minutes, shady dips. We check the bathroom and it literally looks the exact same. Oh, and did I mention the door is not secure at all? Like a toddler could probably rip one of the doors off of its hinges if it wanted to. As me and my friends went out and enjoyed the night we dreaded returning back to our dirty train wreck of an “inn” if that’s what they even want to try to call this sick joke. We pushed the tv stand in front of the door to block anyone from coming into our room considering the lack of security within the door and the space. Check out: yay finally time to leave! Checkout was scheduled for 11:00 am. As we were finishing up packing our things, someone starts pounding on the door at 11:01 telling us that we need to leave. Whew chile.. The ghetto.. If you’d like to spare your sanity, do not stay at this...
