You get what you pay for... Its severely outdated and need of an upgrade, HOWEVER for the price you pay, the location AND FREE PARKING ummm we sucked it up. Before I checked in, I like you, read the reviews... So if u have kids here's what I bought that made my 2 night stay not so bad....we literally left our clothes here, showered and slept. You will need: Clorox wipes, sheets, water and Lysol wouldn't hurt but isn't necessary. Now to be fair I bring these items to any hotel/motels I patronize. The staff was awesome however work at the neighboring motel as well so aren't always visible. It wasn't loud or full of unsupervised underaged children...there were family's and couples staying the night or two like mine. I didn't have any bugs but did see ducks *totally cool* It was OK here, I'd even go back again because I know what to expect...with the overpriced items on the boardwalk and the $8 fee for the beach, I was OK with where we stayed.

Honestly the room i had was disgusting. As soon as I walked in I immediately thought to myself I should get a refund. This room should cost no more then 50 bucks. I didn't even want my skin to touch anything. I especially didn't want my 2 kids to even lay on those beds. The sheets had stains on them, the dresser still had cup rings on it so it obviously wasn't cleaned, there was a sketchy hole in the ceiling where the shower is, toilet seat was disgusting, everything about the room just said RUN. And that's exactly what we did. Idk who gave this place 3 stars or better but its gotta be employees or something. If your young, wanna party, and dont care it's the perfect spot I guess. Please dont bring your kids here.

Wow is all i can and will say. Run spend the extra money and stay somewhere else believe me it is not a place for anyone not even single people. Our first night here we were told to get off the balconies because other people were being loud and if we didn't within 30 seconds they were going to kick us off the premises. The cops are posted here as I speak because of other people being loud yet again. So everyone else suffers because of one group of people. It's disgusting the rooms are dirty parking really sucks housekeeping can be improved but not the worst I've ever seen. But this is by far the worst place I've ever stayed in my life.

We booked this place for my sisters bday weekend, 2 nights 3 days which cost $800 and honestly it wasn’t the best. Starting off, the motel was filled with prom kids which I feel should be noted when booking because the area is loud. The room itself, the cabinets were missing doors, the bedding had sand on the top blanket, the living room pull out couches were stained up and had veggie straws once pulled out, the stains was an issue cause there was 4 of us now having to share beds. The bathroom shower was full of mold and hair. There was toilet paper that was previously used. Some of the light switches didn’t work so you’d have to turn the light on/off by hand. On the booking website it states the pool opens 9am-9pm, however the pool sign on premises states 10am-8pm which isn’t a big difference but when we went to go swimming at the 11:30 am it was locked and the front desk person said he couldn’t open it until he got insurance from the prom kids as if that has anything to do with our stay. Then he told another person in my group he wouldn’t open the pool until 3pm which is where I had to get involved. He argued with me that he doesn’t open the pool until typically 4pm, so one he is false advertising pool hours. He kept arguing that he had to wait until everyone checked out to open it. When you book a hotel saying amenities included, you’re paying for that portion, why should we have to wait for other vacationers to leave to use what we paid for? Also The pool on brochure states it’s a heated pool in which it’s not. The pool was dirty when we finally got in and colder than the ocean. Housekeeping didn’t clean our rooms or restock the toilet paper but we did see housekeeping outside others rooms. The only positive of the motel is being a 2 minute walk from the boardwalk. It’s definitely not worth the $800.00 we paid. All we got was a dirty room & nasty attitude from front desk. I recommend going...

You need to keep in mind two things: 1) you get what you pay for and 2) this is a typical no frills old, run-down seaside motel (which, in my opinion, has a certain type of charm)||That said, yes, it is run down-- the building and the room. Our room on the third floor was pretty gross. Weird unfinished wood paneling, burn holes in the comforters, flat pillows, furniture had burn marks and scratches. In the bathroom, the door didn't close all the way, there were floor tiles missing, the ceiling was falling down, the tub faucet did not shut completely off, it ran all night, loudly. There was also a hole in the wall behind the toilet; I'm assuming it's for access to pipes, but... Ew. I don't want to see that.|Theres rust all around the room, like the edges of the bathroom mirror, and the room's door. Again, that's kind of expected in a beachy area. The pool was small, and a couple of the loungers were broken, but the pool was a great time!! nice to relax at. My 10 year old loved it! The best part --------- *LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!!! * As long as you don't mind the lack of cosmetic appeal, this is a great little spot! Just a couple of steps away from a happening boardwalk! Don't forget shower shoes...

Great for the price and location! I’m sorry but if you expect a high class Ritz you’re crazy. For the price I paid and for the location (right next to the boardwalk), this place is perfect. I’ve stayed here twice, 2021 and 2022, with 3-7 other friends each time. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. You get 2 beach passes per room in exchange for your ID until it’s returned. The only issue we had was that our toilet wouldn’t fill with water so it wouldn’t flush unless you held the plug down in the back, but we told them about it and we were only there for 2 nights, so I’m sure it’s fixed by now. No big deal for a few hundred bucks for 2 rooms. The rooms were overall clean. Definitely outdated and “rEtRo” decor and furnishing (i.e. old TV, broken handle on a dresser that we didn’t use) but the fridge works, the sinks and shower works, the beds were intact, sheets were clean, and other than the toilet that’s all we needed. There’s a lock and a deadbolt on the door too. If you want something more modern don’t book here. But if you just want somewhere to rest your head at night after a day and night out at the shore and on the boardwalk, book at Glendale! We...
