Funtown Beach — Attraction in Seaside Park

Carey is wonderful at the entrance! Very accommodating. The staff are all helpful. Bathrooms are decently clean and so close! They sell ice which is super helpful. DJ is good but you have to sit closer to the center of the beach to hear well enough. I think my only complaint is that some people come before 9 am to setup shop for the day and disappear. And they take up A LOT of space. They have to yell to each other while talking because they’re so far apart. My family and I LOVE this beach!!!! Fun town beach is the best!!! There is a swing set area for the kids, a stand that sells slushies and snacks. The people that work on the beach are awesome!!! We have been going to the beach for several years and it's the only one we will go to!!! Seeing the same life guards year after year has been awesome too! On the weekend, Saturdays specifically, they play music!! They also have cabanas you can rent, which we did last year for the first time, it was awesome!!! The beach is clean DJ keeps the fun going. The ease of bathrooms, accessibility of food & drinks, and the option to BYOB, makes this a fun time to be had.
