Great beach to visit whether for the day or if you are staying for a vacation. There is ample parking but like any place you will have to get there early for a good spot. The beach is clean and pretty family oriented. At the north end of the seaside park board walk is the sawmill which has excellent food and drinks. Seaside heights board walk starts at the north end of seaside park which is great if you decide you want to take the kids to play some games or find other restaurants or bars. One thing I noticed recently because we went went down later than usual is that in some spots you are kind of far from a restroom.

The bayside of seaside park has a couple of fishing and crabbing piers. If you didn't bring equipment with you there are numerous places to purchase everything you'll need. All of these places have knowledgeable and friendly staff. Another great thing is that the badge that you purchase for the bay or the ocean is good for the other side.

I use to rent a house for about a month for 5 years here. That was some time ago and it's nice to go back there now and see that the atmosphere is...

Didn't like the fact you have to pay to enter the beach. When we were visiting Seaside Park the weather was stormy and we entered the beach in the morning just to sit near the ocean. By the time we entered it there was nobody at the entrance to take money so I really thought the entrance is free (at least with such weather). However later the guy came to us and asked to pay or get out of the beach. I don't understand why I have to pay $10 just to sit near the water or swim. And this was the first place in my life I had to pay for the beach among those many countries...

Beach is nice; plenty of parking available too. However, there are no public restrooms in the vicinity. Poor directions well ; the buildings with big boards stating 'restrooms' are shutdown and abandoned. This kinda forces people to use the restroom inside the restaurant and fastfood chains. The boardwalk is happening during evening hours, but the games and arcade are just as pricey as anywhere else. Not to mention the claw machine scam. The beach in itself is nice, wished the tax money and parking fee were used for more public...

It's just so beautiful On vacation At the Jersey Shore Seaside park Nj Right across from the beach watching the Sun rise and set the sounds of the ocean and the mist floating across the beach The beautiful colors reflecting off the Ocean waves whether its in the early morning or late evenings ,The slight smell of the salt water and the beautiful occasion's when the dolphins are in their packs working their way up or down the coast all the different birds flying across the skies .You can see hear smell & taste The real Jersey Shore.

Nice beach just be prepared to pay a lot of money to sit on the sand. The daily pass is now $13 and you also have to pay to park unless you want to walk a few blocks and park in the neighborhood. The beach is typically crowded in this area but the beach is large enough to accommodate the crowd. If you like it quieter head closer to Island Beach State Park or go as earlier in the day.
