What a beautiful place in Sister Bay! Right near the water with a gorgeous view, and the interior of the place is so beautifully decorated. I have a dairy allergy but still love a good dessert, so it is not easy for me to find something when I am not at home. I was so excited to see Kokos when we parked to walk in the area. Such a gem! The ice cream is made with Coconut Milk. I had the Strawberry, which was amazing. I developed my dairy allergy after having kids, so I know what real ice cream tastes like and can be critical. KOKOS is the BEST ice cream in town. Do not let ‘plant based’ prevent you from choosing this spot over the other local creamery shops. My family and I LOVE ice cream. We are the type to make a point to get ice cream daily on vacation. We stumbled upon KOKOS and went out of our way to return a second time before leaving Door Co. I can vouch for the blackberry lavender, strawberry, mint chocolate chip and just straight chocolate. Delicious! So MUCH better than the ice cream and gelato down the road (we ate those too). Seriously. Also, the atmosphere is hip, fresh and the umbrellas out front are adorable....
