I visited this place for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by how big and beautiful it is. My fiancé and I fell in love with a stunning tray and some decorative pears. Initially, the tray had a price tag, but the pears didn’t. We asked an employee for clarification, and she kindly informed us that since the pears didn’t have price tags, she would assume they were included with the vase. However, she decided to double-check with the dealer. Unfortunately, the dealer’s contact information wasn’t available at the booth, so she returned and informed us that the pears were $3 each (there were 8 of them) but that everything in the booth was 25% off. After some thought, we decided to purchase it because we really loved the set.
When we got to the cashier, however, we were told that the pears were not part of the discount. We explained that an employee had specifically told us otherwise. The cashier, who identified herself as the manager, abruptly said, “You can call the dealer if you want, but I’m the manager, and I’m telling you the pears are not discounted.” Her attitude made us feel like we were being dishonest or trying to get something for free, which was absolutely not the case.
All I wanted to say was: I shouldn’t have to call the dealer, we are just saying what we were told. Chill, as we weren’t arguing or trying to cause a scene. Your own employee told us the pears were part of the discount. You should know that the dealer’s contact information wasn’t provided, which is why your employee had to make that call through you in the first place.
Ultimately, we left without making the purchase because the customer service experience was so unpleasant. It’s disappointing because we truly loved the items but were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Read moreThis was of my favorite antique malls. Tons of great finds and a lot of fun things to browse. However, today, even after giving our backpacks to the front without even being asked… we were FREQUENTLY followed around. I was surprised. This did not happen last time we came. My friend even left the stuff she was going to buy at the front as we kept looking. I had 3 post cards the whole time. Where was I planning on putting them?
It made it a very unenjoyable experience and the two men working today were extremely rude, especially the guy in the brown shirt I saw every 2-3 minutes. Last time I came here, the man who I talked to was SO nice and helpful. I missed him. The ladies at the front were snarky too. I guess having a lot of tattoos is a funny inside joke. We left early even though I wasn’t even close to being finished, because I started getting genuinely upset. I hope these specific people read this and change their attitudes.
Looking at antiques is one of the few things that brings me true joy and I did like this mall.
I’ll never come...
Read moreHusband and I were in search of an antique desk. We found this gym through searching for antique stores. We were greeted promptly by a nice lady in the front cashier and asked us if we were looking for something specific. Husband spoke to her and she kindly told us definitely I would find not only a desk but other neat items. Now, I did read the reviews before we got here and I was apprehensive when I read that they treated certain people different and I can say is at times when I wasn’t with my husband, I was approached by different employers asking me if I found what I was looking for and it was odd being that when you’re in an antique shop it’s more like browsing. But once I was approached twice, I stuck with the husband like glue. We ended up buying a beautiful late 1800’s to early 1900’s secretary desk and other small items. Overall, I loved this antique store. I don’t mind driving 25+ to come spend and hour or...
