David J. West Gallery — Attraction in Springdale

David’s a master at pulling the details and true colors the naked eyes see at the right time and right place. A true master of this photographic metal art form. He is also incredibly kind and hospitable. We have placed our love for David J West art work even over our Michael Fatali in our living room. Last weekend we went in his gallery once again and bought another perfect piece of Zion beauty home called “Evening Glow”. It was an unexpected purchase but you become so drawn into the pinks, blues, purples, oranges and all the other enchanting colors, absolutely majestic artwork! Holy smokes David! Incredible talent and skill only honed by true passion and love for natures beauty and wonders. This skill and style of artwork is a real treasure of our our great American National Park called Zion by many and Mukuntuweap by our natives.

We visited several galleries in Springdale during our visit to Zion NP. The David J West Gallery was our favourite. This is a private studio and showroom featuring the works of local photographer David J. West. Opening hours are 10am to 8pm daily.

Here you will find several gallery rooms with beautiful images of landscape and outdoor scenes, highlighting the very best of Zion NP and other areas in this region of the United States. The images are well composed and just delightful to view.

Even if you are not in the market for buying, it is still worth passing by for 20-30 minutes simply to enjoy the lovely works on display at David J West Gallery in Springdale. We'd happily pop in for another visit if visiting Zion NP again...

We stayed for a week at La Quinta Inn in Springdale while visiting Zion. Our room as well as the lobby and breakfast area were decorated with many of David West's beautiful photos. I liked finding a shot of where we would be exploring for the day. So before we left Springdale, we stopped by the gallery, right across the street from the hotel. His photography is just great and really showcases the natural beauty of Zion. We picked up a couple of prints to bring home and Mr. West signed them for us.
