As you walk through Springdale, it can be a bit overwhelming to decide where to rent e-bikes or gear for hiking The Narrows as there are several outfitters to chose from. On our first night in town we walked by E-bikes Zion and Fiona greeted my wife and I with a friendly smile and offered us a brochure. The next day we went to other outfitters to compare equipment and rental options but ended up going back to E-bikes to rent bikes to ride up the canyon. If you donât ride bikes a lot you would probably be happy with most e-bike options in town but I love my road bike and was hesitant to rent an e-bike. I must admit I was thoroughly impressed with the storeâs selection (bikes for all types of riders) and we eventually settled on the Swiss-made Stromer St2. Fiona helped us get set up and even recommended a fantastic bike ride from Springdale to the ghost town of Grafton (about 12km away) which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to the area. We were so impressed with the quality of the gear and the service that we also rented boots and waterproof bib pants from them to hike The Narrows the following day. As previously mentioned this store stocks high quality gear and the hip waders were no exception. These waders have integrated neoprene booties sewn directly to the pants themselves so almost no water leaks into the boots. My wifeâs feet usually get cold very easily but she was comfortable the entire day (we ended up walking almost five hours in the gear). We heard many people complain about having cold toes during the hike but we were completely fine. All in all, this store offers top notch customer service and high quality gear at competitive prices. I donât usually write google reviews but our experience at E-bikes Zion was so good that I had to share...
Read moreGreat company with awesome people to help. My wife, two 12 year-olds and I found this gem while staying for about 3 days in Springdale.
We rented e-bikes the first day and this was probably the highlight of our trip. We started around 10am and rented full day. In our opinion, it was the BEST way to see the park in one day. We road all the way to Temple of Sinawava effortlessly. The unobstructed views on a bike in these Zion Canyons is breathtaking. My daughter was a little to short to ride a bike herself, so I got a tandem and she rode on the back. She LOVED it!!! My son, wife and I had no problem getting used to and riding the e-bikes even though it was our first time. We also had time to do the hike to Emerald Pools and have lunch at the Zion National Park Lodge. A perfect day!
Their website does not show the hiking gear if you want to do the Narrows. On day 2 we got boots, neoprene socks, and hiking sticks for the whole family. The gear was perfect and we made it all the way to Wall St! A lot more work that our e-bike adventure, but so worth it!!!
Everything we got from Ebikes Zion was top quality and perfect for what we needed. Where they really stand out however is their service. EVERYONE who helped us was so friendly and knowledgeable. Cade/Kade and Allie on day one really enlightened these noobie-tourists where to go, what to see and the best way to do it. On day 2 Allie and Brandon, again, helped us get the most out of Zion in the safest way possible.
Thank you guys for all your help and we'll definitely visit again next time...
Read moreWhen we couldnât find parking my wife came up with a genius idea: letâs just grab some ebikes and cruise into the park. Thatâs how we ended up at Ebikes Zion - a place we had rented bikes from in the past.
The staff there hooked us up, and the setup was epic. My wife had her own bike and per recommendation of the crew, I rode with both my kids, my 1 year old in a child seat and my 4 year old seated in front of him on the bench that the seat was also attached to. I road with them and all my gear without issue - it's great how they can customize bikes to your needs.
Renting those ebikes was the best decision of the trip. No battling shuttle schedules or dodging cars since the main road is closed to traffic. We cruised in and the kids were having the time of their lives. We hit the lodge, grabbed some snacks and a beer and enjoyed the views in the grassy area outside the lodge.
My favorite part od the ride is the way back to the entrance from the narrows. As we rounded Big Bend, there it was: Angels Landing in all its glory, looming like the boss level of hikes. We planned (and did) hike it next day with both kids, so it was great to see it from this view first.
In the end, Ebikes Zion gave us the perfect blend of freedom, laughs, and vibes. So if you're in Zion, skip the shuttle and go straight for the ebikes. Trust me, you...
