When I first rolled up there was 4 raccoons in the parking lot, cats outside of the door.. I already had reservations booked through Priceline. I walk in and was greeted by a lady in a wheelchair, she was nice but not sure what she was even doing there… But the gentleman at the desk was the rudest host I ever met. He seemed pissed I even booked a room, I think I was the only customer there… I was so tired I didn’t want to argue with him. He started going off on me because I booked a room through 3rd party and telling me they make $3 profit or something like that because I didn’t walk in and pay.. Whatever dude, give me the keys I’m not going to argue with you. Guy was rough looking to, definitely couldn’t have been the owner? So not sure why he cared. Anyway, I get into the room and this place is completely SHOT. The bed sheets looked like something from a horror movie, stained red and brown, dust dirt and hair all over the mirrors, place definitely wasn’t cleaned at all in a long time if ever. I was so grossed out I didn’t even want to take pictures or look around, the fact I even slept here was beyond belief…. There definitely isn’t a health inspector in the area that is looking at this place or it would be condemned. 1 towel in the bathroom, no shampoo or conditioner. I know there is probably bed bugs throughout this entire place no doubt, this has to be ground 0 for them. Surprisingly I woke up with no bites but I did have nightmares about them. Talk about breakfast? Yea, you’re not getting breakfast, not that I would have eaten it anyway if there was. Totally felt unsafe here, straight up horror movie vibes. I made it out alive but I’ll never book the cheapest hotel room again. There was a reason the room was $50, but you couldn’t even pay me $500 to stay there again. Not sure who owns this place but you definitely are running the worst hotel around, or not running it at all… Makes me want to start a YouTube channel of the worst hotels in America, it’s almost comical that a place like this even exists. Better off sleeping at the gas station on the concrete for the night...
Read moreI cannot believe Choice Hotels mark their letterheads with this place! Shame on you Choice! Also Priceline even putting it on there! Shame on you too! This place needs tore down. I got there and I love animals so it didn’t bother me. A lot of places are super pet friendly! There was cats and people had rooms had cute dogs! There was a lady in a wheelchair outside. She seemed nice. The desk clerk seemed nice too. No biggie. My beef is he had to make sure the room was clean before I entered it. I was like omg! What did I get into. So I go to the room hence the elevator smelled like I don’t know what! Feet maybe? I went to my room and I was like hmmmm ok it reminds me of a crack hotel from Fayetteville NC. So I left for a bit and went and got something to eat. The rooms also smelled old icky. So I got back and I was on the phone with my friend. I was wanting to put my food in the fridge and it was unplugged. So I plugged it and wanted to check make sure the temperature was cool enough to put food in and there was COCKROACHES inside. I had enough. I left they can keep my money but I went down the street to Americas Best Choice and let me tell you something it’s a good place on a budget. If you think about booking here please don’t! Go...
Read moreThe outside looked nice and new, but the inside of the hotel was dingy and dirty. Carpet looked nasty, chair fabric was stained and gross, the TVs looked like they were installed by 12-year-olds, a cupboard door was broken, two drawers were missing handle fixtures, the toilet seat was loose and all scratched up, the entrance area was missing ceiling tiles, the pool area was very dingy and creepy- only about 1/3 of the lights worked, and it was right next to an equally seedy-looking bar; the hot tub was out of service; the bar/pool area reeked of smoke- despite it being illegal to smoke indoors in public places in Ohio. Also, the computers would not accept my debit card- and I had no trouble with it anywhere else during my trip. Overall, probably the worst experience I've ever...
