Unfortunately very disappointed. Went to longhorn in St.Clairsville Ohio Sunday evening with my wife, and five children. The wait to be seated was not that bad, maybe 15-20 minutes as they were busy. We were seated in the very rear of the restaurant in a small booth made for four people, five max next to the restrooms. By this time the restaraunt was slowing down a bit, so not sure why they didn’t wait to give us a bigger table, but we were crushed. We ordered an appetizer which never came. An hour and 5 minutes went by before our food was brought out, and when I asked about the appetizer they said it must not have went through the order, which means it wasn’t ordered. They brought it out anyway after we were all eating our dinner, so it just sat there and got cold, and was essentially wasted, but thankfully we were not charged for it. The small plates that were given to us for the bread were SOAKING wet still, and covered in small particles of food, (this was the second time in a row we went there and got dirty dishes). I ordered the “well done” 20 oz ribeye, and literally one half of it was rare, and the other half was well cooked, besides the fact that it was about 40% fat and bone. So of the 20 oz steak, I received about 7 oz of edible meat. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter he got the front house manager, and she took my steak off the bill thankfully, because what I did eat was cold. My baked potatoe was dry, and hard as a brick on the bottom, and the onions in my wives salad were sitting out so long they were literally “see-through” and slimy. After a total of an hour and 30 minutes we were never once given a refill on our beverages, even though there were 3 empty glasses, and two that had about 1/4 of the glass remaining on our table, so that was all ice and water. And the worst part about it all is that by this time the restaraunt was literally half empty. Just not a place I’m willing to spend $150 on dinner every Sunday for my family. We really liked Longhorn the first time we went there about two years ago, but each time our experience gets worse. Looks like we will be sticking to Outback Steakhouse from now on. I’ve never gotten a dirty dish from that...

I have been in a few different Longhorn Steakhouses and this one definitely had the best vibe. The decor was off the charts. From the second you walked in the lobby between doors all the way in, you really had the feeling of being in the wild west. I couldn’t help but take pictures because there were so many cool, decor areas.
Food: I ordered the Renegade Sirloin with the loaded baked potato and mixed green salad. The sirloin had a kick to it. I definitely needed my water after the first bite. My husband got the Chopped Steak. It had just the right amount of gravy and mushrooms. It was just beautiful to look at in general. The mixed green salads at Longhorn are one of my favorite salads of all restaurants. I love the way that they chop things into small pieces so then there isn’t an overwhelming taste of any specific veggies and it can be mixed nicely. The bread, of course, amazing! If I could change anything, it would’ve been that the motor baked potato be opened just a little bit more and filled more to capacity. It had a good taste, but the sea salt of the potato kind of over took it because there wasn’t enough fillings. Overall, dinner was great, just those suggestions.
We got the Chocolate Stampede for my husband‘s birthday dessert. Although we were very filled from dinner, we definitely got it down and it was delicious. Highly recommended for 2 people to share!
Dine in and takeout are available. Popular for lunch, dinner and dessert. Family friendly and nice for groups or tourists. Bar onsite. Credits and debit cards accepted. Vegetarian and healthy options available.
As I mentioned before, the decor was amazing in this location. You had collages of framed belt buckles, shelves of cowboy boots, horseshoes, and lots of western sculptures and wall art.
Lots of stalls available in the women’s restroom and modernly done.
Kid, friendly with high chairs, kids menu, and changing table.
Stacie L, our server was on her game, bringing food in a timely manner and refilling our drinks. She was also extremely friendly. A great server!
Will definitely return to this location!

Read moreMy steak was cooked perfectly (medium), however my husband ordered medium rare and his was definitely closer to medium well, and my son ordered medium well and his was pretty much jerky. They did send their steaks back and had new ones brought to them which were then cooked correctly. However, this caused me to be finished eating much sooner than them so it was just awkward. Our server was very polite and attentive. About half way through my meal, a couple with a large, long haired service dog were seated right behind us. It's raining out and the dog was stopped by our table while it's humans were being seated and it shook the rain from its fur. Since it was so close to our table I watched dander and wet dog fur water fly towards my plate. This grossed me out and I could no longer eat the rest of my food. I am a pet owner and have nothing against dogs. However, when eating out at a pricey restaurant I don't want my food that is to go into my body covered in a random dogs dander as I'm allergic and it's just gross. I don't let my own dogs shake off into my dinner plate at home. If restaurants allow service animals inside the establishment they should have their own section, like smokers did in the past. We probably won't be back to this Longhorn. If our server had been bad I would have only given one star. Luckily...
