The Pizza Hunters is hands down one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The rustic décor and open kitchen add a nice touch, letting you watch the magic happen as your pizza is prepared.
The pizzas themselves are absolutely outstanding. I tried the classic Margherita and the Meat Lovers — both with perfectly thin, crispy crusts and fresh, high-quality toppings. The balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings was spot on, and the flavors were rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. They also offer great vegan and gluten-free options, which is awesome for everyone.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They took the time to recommend the best pizza and even suggested excellent craft beers to pair with our meal.
What really makes The Pizza Hunters stand out is their commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors. It’s clear they care deeply about providing an exceptional pizza experience.
If you’re a pizza lover or just looking for a great casual meal, The Pizza Hunters is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreI'm not sure how this place has 4.9 stars... pizza tastes like it's been frozen. I was so excited to try it based on positive reviews.... but it was absolutely awful. I get it, I shouldn't compare it to our pizza in NYC, but still... who puts so many fresh tomatoes on Margherita pizza??? If you decide to put tomatoes, they need to be real San Marzano tomatoes, and only a hadful of them. Otherwise, skip them all together. Reglar tomatoes they use get the pie extra watery when cooked. The dough is too dense, not crispy and somehow thick and chewy, reminds of frozen pizza dough or some sort of school cafeteria pizza. The cheese they use.... im not even sure it's real cheese. I tried to crisp it up in the oven at home (because of the watery issue described above) but the cheese wouldn't even change color... it wouldn't crisp up, it would just simply melt off the pie. The only saving grace is the pizza sauce, the sauce actually has a good sweetness balance to it. Perhaps why all the other reviewers are raving about this spot. But if you are looking for a good pie, do yourself a favor, drive to south beach and get Lucali pizza. The only pizza that is worth...
Read morePizza was very good, I tried a slice of the pepperoni pizza and one of the bbq chicken pizza. Both were very good. The service was fast and friendly. There really isn’t much atmosphere, although there are a few small tables and chairs set up, the place is set up more for take out than dine in. There’s a beverage cooler of soft drinks and a few beers to choose from. Prices are a bit on the high side for a slice of pizza, the two slices I bought were almost $20. If you want sauce or most anything extra, it will cost you extra $2 or $3. There are other items like buffalo wings, smallest order was about 6 pieces for $13. Not super expensive but seemed a bit excessive so I decided not to order anything else. Besides some of the other items didn’t seem as appealing as the pizza. Although, the Parmesan was pretty good and fresh, it made a good addition to the pizza. There was no extra charge for that, thank goodness. Overall, I would give it a two thumbs up but I’m not anxious to go back anytime soon. Fortunately, there are many pizza shops and many to choose from in the area of...
