The hosts were very informative and thorough prior to our arrival, which we greatly appreciated. The space was exceptionally clean and made for a relaxing stay. As noted in the listing, the stairs were quite the workout, but we were prepared for that. The age of the building did come with a few quirks—most notably, limited hot water. We weren’t able to take back-to-back showers without it running out.
The cool mountain air at night was refreshing, but since there are no screens on the windows, leaving them open led to quite a few bugs getting inside. This was the only way to cool the unit, but the hosts were responsive and provided bug strips, which helped a bit. Adding screens to the windows would be a major improvement.
It was a thoughtful touch to have coffee provided for the coffee maker—I definitely took advantage of that! One small note for future guests: the pillows in the master bedroom were very soft, so if you prefer a firmer one, it might be worth bringing your own. I ended up with a kink in my neck on our last day.
All in all, we enjoyed the space and loved having a cozy spot to unwind each evening after a full day...
Read moreGreat condo for our family of 4!
Highlights include a great location, comfortable accommodations and a superbly stocked kitchen. The only complaints were that the unit could have been cleaned better before we arrived and one of two bathrooms need updating.
The location is about a 10 minute walk to the Gondola station, a 10 minute walk to all the action on Main street, a 2 minute walk to the river, a 2 minute walk to the grocery store. The location is fantastic!
The accommodations were comfortable. Note, this unit does not have A/C. The downstairs has 2 rooms with a king bed and queen bed respectively. The main floor has a pull out sofa and the loft has 3 beds. We did not use the pull out sofa or loft beds, but the downstairs beds were very comfortable. The unit has 2 full size bathrooms.
The kitchen was superbly stocked for its size. We ate meals and cooked in the condo a lot and the kitchen had everything you can possible imagine.
The only complaints were 1) the condo was not cleaned well when we arrived and 2) the upstairs bathroom is very old and needs to be...
Read moreI had the pleasure of staying in Lulu City 6F last weekend and I absolutely loved both the condo and the town of Telluride! Let me tell you about the apartment itself; it is beautifully renovated at a very high standard. Good sized bedrooms with the most comfortable beds! Also very good sized bathrooms, lovely fluffy and soft towels and robes and a fully equipped kitchen. The dining/lounge area is perfect for post skiing dinners with friends and family (or for that fully cooked breakfast before you head out!). This condo has everything you would ever need to have a very comfortable stay (including boot warmers!). The Galloping Goose (free bus that loops around town and which comes around every 10 mins) stops right outside the condo and takes you to the Gondola (which takes you across to Mountain Village) in just a few mins. You also have Lift #7 just a couple of 100 yds from the condo to get you to the slopes. The Main Street of Telluride is full of lovely shops and really nice bars and restaurants. I loved this place and would love to come...
