We were in town for Telluride Bluegrass 50th celebration. We have attended several times and have stayed at a variety of places without issue. ||The initial emails for check in differed between our party and the party we were traveling with as well as differing from email and text message. Upon arriving in the evening, we parked in the designated lot described in our email and text message and in the morning checked in with the staff to ensure that we were parked appropriately. We placed our hangtag/ sticker in our window and went along enjoying our weekend. ||At the end of the weekend we found that we had been ticketed (along with a couple other families). We went to the front desk and informed them of the issue and were informed this would be taken care of. ||I have personally called 4 separate times and emailed 2 times to get this issue resolved. The last call made was to speak directly to the manager/owner who appeared overwhelmed, annoyed, and almost hostile towards us and our request for the ticket to be taken care or covered by Mountainside Inn. He stated specifically in an elevated voice that he "WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH US". We ended the call feeling unheard and not valued or appreciated that we were trying to get the issue resolved. ||Here we are 10 full business days after this last call and I have not received any sort of follow up call or email from the manger/owner. I called yesterday and was told he was not in but my message would be passed on. Still no call back.||Being out of state, I am now having to continue to deal with this issue myself instead of the business and its staff taking any ownership or responsibility for their lack of clear communication around the initial parking expectations and the subsequent ticketing of our car. ||I will not be staying at this establishment in the future and I would encourage anyone that plans to stay to be very through with communication on parking and not have a lot of expectations for management to treat guests with...
Read moreHonestly, we stayed here the other night and I was super disappointed. Online price says $135, but when it's all said and done with a bunch of hidden fees, you're looking at $218 if you bring your dog, for a small room that's basically like an incredibly overpriced motel 6. We called and called to make our reservations with the Inn but could never get through to an actual person at the front desk. Because of this, we ended up having to use a booking agency to make reservations and asked repeatedly for a king bed. We ended up with 2 tiny beds instead. We are both tall people and the bed was very small and uncomfortable. When checking in, the first lady who talked to us (manager or owner) was super nice and told me we could have a late check out. Then this younger girl who was kinda rude, acted inconvenienced by us the whole time, and didn't even tell us any information about where our room was or anything, took it back saying we couldn't check out late. I was fine with that, the nice lady even called our room later to apologize. I asked about the king bed I thought we were getting and she was very sorry to hear we didn't get what we wanted but all they had to offer me was a kinda crappy bottle of wine. Then to make things worse, I was startled by construction right outside my window at 7:45 in the morning with very loud machines slamming. Then just as I was about to fall back asleep, the damn maid knocked on our door at 8:15. After just 2 small quiet knocks, before I could get even get to the door, she started coming in the room when check out isn't even till ten!! To some it all up, my stay was pretty crappy, I got like no sleep, and this place kinda sucks. Spend the extra 50 dollars and stay somewhere else nicer. Mountainside Inn uses the cheapest everything from toilet paper to mattresses. The only good thing I can say is the manager is super sweet. But this place is way overpriced and not very nice especially being that it's...
Read moreStayed in room 412 October 2018. Its on bottom floor. The hallway smells horrible, like dirty gym socks. A musty smell. The room didn't smell as bad, but the carpet looked filthy. The room had full sized bed and a twin. It did have mini kitchen. But we didn't need that.
I have Metastatic Breast Cancer. My immunity is low. I started feeling congested with increased fatique the next morning. I know something in that room made me sick. I've been exposed to mold before. This felt the same. Congestion, increased fatique, body aches. No fever.
My husband can't smell. I should have said something. But I was too tired to change rooms. I have limited energy now. We had been driving all day. My husband wanted me to see Telluride.
How can you not smell the musty smell in the hallways? Or the rooms? I find this disappointing. Do you just not care? Its been 5 days I still feel bad. Do you have any idea how it is to live with MBC? Its horrible. You stole days from me.
I don't care about the money. You should test that building. Of course I could be wrong. I hate leaving bad reviews. I sent a complaint in to you. But heard nothing back
The outside area was beautiful and well landscaped. The hot tub looked very nice. They provide towels for it. They also have a...
