Update for latest visit on 09.20.2025 -- I sincerely appreciate that Zales offers repair maintenance for jewelry that wasn't originally purchased at their store. I was able to drop off my item, get full details about what services would be done, approximately when it would be returned, and that Zales staff would quality inspect the item when they got it back from offsite repair. My item came back earlier than promised and I was contacted by phone by Monique. When I went to pick up my item, I worked with Reese. In addition, I was able to purchase metal protection for my item even though it wasn't bought at Zales and it is over 20 yrs old. That metal protection will help me maintain my item and save me money in the long term.
Monique and Reese are always professional, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I've worked with each of them on multiple visits. In addition, both Reese and Monique always treat me with excellent customer service. Though I don't have very expensive jewelry, my items have significant value to me. Some people might say that the experience you have at a jewelry store depends on how much you spend. I'll tell you that is not the experience that I've had with Fantastic Reese and Wonderful Monique. Their exceptional customer service, respect for me and attention to my requests will keep me returning to their store. 5 start each to Reese and Monique!
06.15.2024 -- Just worked with Reese at the Del Amo store. She is wonderful, patient, and well informed. She took time to talk with me and my fianceé to learn about us. Reese completely matched our preferences to the ring options and found us the right one for each of us. Reese went the extra mile to get my ring resized in a short time frame too. Work with Reese,...
Read moreHad the most absolute worst experience. I came in to PICK UP my order I placed online. Lady named Carol âhelpedâ me checkout. However, she takes it out and touches all over my bracelet (I have already purchased) showing it off to her daughter saying âI found your dadâs Christmas presentâ. Like okay great I love it too thatâs why IIII bought it can we stop touching it?? After sheâs done touching it she asks me if I would like to see it. I kindly said no because I was only trying to pick up and go. Then she puts it on her wrist?!! I already thought it was weird she was touching it. And now sheâs wearing it?? As sheâs putting it on she asks me how to put it on. I just bought it. I am picking up now. Girl, YOU TELL ME tf. Then she actually has the audacity to wear the bracelet as sheâs doing the computer work to check me out. Umm?!! I tried to hint âoh does it go in the bag?â Sheâs like âyeah Iâll give it to you right nowâ EXCUSE ME?? At this point Iâm furious. I had to ask her âdo you mind putting it in the bag?â She then finally takes it off. How long was she planning on wearing it??? This was a gift for my bf and he doesnât even get to wear it first? Very disrespectful. Where are her boundaries? Just simply wearing customers jewelry as she checks them out?? I didnât come to play dress up. This is a gift woman. Do not touch what has already been bought. Never in my life would I have ever thought Iâd have to ask a Jeweler to take off my jewelry!! Is she okay?? All I wanted was a nice CLEAN piece of jewelry to gift my bf. If I wanted this kind of clown service I wouldâve gone to downtown LA, a swap meet or any...
Read moreMo and Carol are GRRRREAT! I had been shopping online for months to surprise my wife with a new ring for our 30th wedding anniversary. I thought I knew what I wanted and was prepared to buy from a discount jeweler online. Well, I was charging my car nearby and had some time to kill so I walked around the mall. Totally unplanned and spontaneously, I walked into Zales and was immediately greeted warmly by Carol. I was a little nervous that she was going to kick into "hard sell mode" but that was not the case at all. Instead, Carol was extremely helpful at the onset, asked a lot of questions and started giving me different ideas based on what I told her... absolutely no pressure. It felt like we were partners on a mission together. Eventually we found one design that I liked but the diamonds were too small. This put us into "custom design mode" and Mo took over from there. Mo was very thorough and helped me work through the pros and cons of all my options - even inviting Carol to weigh in e.g. yellow gold to match the wedding ring vs. white gold to "stand out." I was impressed how well they worked together as a team. The custom ring took ~6 weeks to make and Mo held my hand through every step and was in constant communication with me. I pulled off the "surprise" and my wife loves the ring. THANK YOU MO AND CAROL!! I couldn't have done this without your expertise and wonderful...
