I am a Jamaican and I have something to say what this owner one day did to me. I always support these people and their business. My children and I live in Torrance, and buy Indian food since part of my culture as a Jamaican we eat curry. One say I passed twi peole sitting outside, a man and woman. I passed by to enter the restaurant and politely said hi, good evening to an Indian woman and man. I was passing between them so I didn't want to be rude. I entered the restaurant and I noticed an oversized Indian man that was ordering. That man became very nervous when he saw me and became very violent in his attitude for no reason, I figure because I am black wearing a mask. He doubled his fist as if he 8nstamtky wanted to attack me. I realized that the woman I Said hi to was his wife and child. I didn't do anything wrong just being polite. It was such a tension that I became nervous. I always come to this place and support. The owner sees me on many occasions and I even know his sons. They see me all the time coming to the Zebra bar. I drink there and eat at their restaurant. This man didn't try to make his customer comfortable, I asked him don't toy know me? He denied me that he never see me before as if he was disregarding me. It's such a shame to see a fight could have happened between me and the big guy. Your God is ashamed of you. I always support you and I felt so belittled by him when he should have stood up for me. It's my people that fought to make you be here 8n America and can be able to have a business to help.yout children. It's the 1965 immigration act Drm Martin Luther King have congress signed so you people can come here and be successful. All asians whether from India or China etc. It's appalling to see your behaviour and how you people think you can treat African american in such derogatory way. We didn't fought for black rights, we fought for human rights for every human being. What gave you done for us in America? Nothing. It hurts me to see an older man did nothing to make peace in his establishment. You should be ashamed. God don't like ugly. Your sons know me. I know when they read this, they know exactly who wrote it.

The WORST service ever experienced in US! I used to go this store once in a while and so far I didn't have any bad experience. Yesterday I bought one snack box from this store and we tasted it once we reached home. The taste was horrible as it was too SALTY! We couldn't even eat a single bite and never experienced such a saltiness! Today I went to the shop and told the manager about the situation and asked for a refund. He was completely rude and denied to give the refund. Surprisingly, he didn't even try to taste the item to see, if it is really bad or not! He started with multiple arguments like, 'since you opened the box we cannot do anything'! I asked him, without opening the box how am I supposed to taste it?? Then after some time, he said, I can buy something else for the same amount or return the item for now and I can buy something else when I come next time! Why would I do that and what kind of suggestion is that?? How can I trust this person, if he doesn't value the customer satisfaction? If we go to any store here in US, this is a basic policy and store has to take the responsibility for whatever they sell there! It is just a matter of $6.99, but it is not just about the money, it is also about the trust and credibility as a shop owner / manager. If the this shop owner see this post, think what benefit you are going to get by denying a "$6.99" refund for a customer! You could have done better!

This is a very small storefront, but with a steady stream of customers. Combination Indian grocery/sweets store and restaurant. There are only two tables inside (4 seats each), so I wouldn't plan on seating being available. It was also very hot inside when we visited (Friday evening following a very hot day (high ~100F). All that said, we ordered a variety of takeout items, including Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Vegetarian Korma, rice and naan. We also got a Mango Lassi and a small assortment of sweets from the store. Staff member taking our order was very helpful in assisting us with navigating the menu and made recommendations based on our preferences. Everything was delicious and served in large portions. Some items were a bit spicy even though we asked for "no spice" level. It was still good and as my wife stated, "worth the pain"... The Mango Lassi was one of the best I've had, full of flavor. My wife tasted it and said it reminded her of her childhood, so it was that good. The sweets selection was also very good. Service was very friendly and we had a nice conversation with staff while we waited for our food. In summary, highly recommended for takeout. Advise managing your expectations if you intend to dine in. Either way, definitely worth a visit as the food is fantastic and we would return if in the area.
