Normally I would give 5 stars because this is my favorite place to eat at Turning Stone, but I had to give 2 this time. Here's why. Although the waitress was nice, I'm hoping she was just having an off night. Our reservation was for 8:00 on Christmas Eve, which is my birthday, which is why we went. It wasn't overly busy at that time, and they were open until 10:00. I feel bad for anyone who had to work that night, but you still expect good service. After we were seated, we waited quite awhile for our waitress to come over. When she finally came over to take our drink order, my hubby ordered a beer. She never asked if I wanted something to drink, which I didn't, but she still should've asked. I let that slide. I ordered an appetizer of VEGETABLE spring rolls and when they came out (all 2 of them), my hubby and I both took big bites and tasted a fish flavor. Turns out they were SHRIMP spring rolls, which I never would've ordered. We ended up eating them. Good thing neither of us is allergic to seafood, because that could've been bad. I let that slide, too. I knew she wasn't paying attention to what I actually ordered, especially since it happened again when we ordered our main meals...she asked what kind of rice we wanted. I said WHITE rice a couple of times to which she said "ok fried". I made sure to say WHITE rice again before she left and she nodded and said "ok white". We got FRIED rice. The nice guy who brought it out went back and got the white rice for us. Once again, slide. My hubby's glass sat empty for a long time as we waited for her to check on us. She finally came over and got him a drink... still never asking if I wanted a drink. I never did say anything to her about our crummy experience, or how unprofessional she was. I didn't mention how she seemed distracted or how inattentive she was to our needs. I'm sure she didn't want to be there on Christmas Eve, but she still had a job to do. One that she was still tipped well for, mostly undeserved. My advice to her: "Pay attention to what the customer is ordering. When they have to correct you, don't just repeat it back...make sure to change it in your system so they get what they actually ordered. Pay attention to the customer, period. Even if you're having a bad day, smile through it and provide the kind of service you would expect for yourself. It's basic customer service that makes people come back." This was our first unsatisfactory experience here. We'll go back. Just hoping we get a different server. But if we do get her...no more letting...
Read moreTruly sorry to post, but the Restaurant / Management should be aware. We've been to all the Turning Stone Restaurants. This experience at Peach Blossom was the worst. Last night, saw a show, stayed overnight in the Tower, so good money spent nicely. Dinner was just really awful for all three of us. My sons beef tenderloin and crab legs were astonishingly bad. The legs were so thin and small and he did not eat the beef, it tasted "bad", old, and we tasted it and it really was. We told him not to eat it, but already made that decision. He felt bad, as a kid would, ordering the dish $ and he couldn't eat it. We shared our dishes with him.. We do NOT send back food for obvious reasons, if the kitchen doesn't like your complaint.....:/ and this was my 14 yr old son's food. So, did not. I had seriously uncooked vegetables. Plate was pan fried noodles with seafood.. pan fried... the noodles were hard and crunchy.. it didn't say deep fried.. odd dish, couldn't eat the uncooked hard noodles. Seafood was good on the plate, but the sauce just made my stomach turn all night. Drinks were good, but the dinner and experience was not worth the money. We should have just chosen the Steakhouse or Italian again. Honestly the food court would have been 200% better. Will not go back to Peach Blossom, but will be back the other Restaurants and...
Read moreWow! I waited way too long to write this review but I have to start with the most important part. Rachel. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our one year anniversary on December 23rd and we booked a last minute room at the lodge and needed to grab the latest dinner possible and we felt terrible to be the last reservation of the night and keep the staff but Rachel made us feel like it was no problem at all. She was the perfect blend of professional and comfortable and always engaged us at our level and matched our vibe and made excellent recommendations. She even let me take a picture of her phone when I needed to know the scallion pancake brand that was the closest to the restaurants. The food was the best Asian food I’ve had in the area and our drinks were perfect. Rachel became our personal photographer too taking a couple dozen photos of us cause she knew we were millenials who needed it. We had great vibes with her and we had alittle guilt being such a late reservation still but she ended up telling us we made her night! Who is this Wonder Woman?! (The atmosphere in there is alittle stale and music isn’t loud enough but who cares. The food and service is worth it) I hope she’s reading this and knows she made our night. The scallion pancakes and Rachel...
