"NY Rec and Social Club" is the newest addition to the Exit 33 complex at The Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York. This vibrant venue offers a refreshing mix of entertainment, delicious bar food, and a welcoming atmosphere that caters to both casual hangouts and lively evenings.
Upon stepping into the club, guests are greeted with a modern and inviting space adorned with plenty of casual seating options. Read moreI didn't eat here, but played at the blackjack tables two nights in a row when I was there. So I can't give a review of the food, but rather the atmosphere and ambiance. I had fun playing blackjack for a couple hours each night, but a couple things that need to be fixed. The music from the DJ is WAY too loud, the dealer would be calling the pit boss over and it was so loud in there the pit boss couldn't even hear the dealer. Us as players basically had to waive the pit boss over for the dealer. Also as a sports bar you would think there would be tv's right by the blackjack tables, but that is not the case. Your only option is to look at the giant screen in the middle of the bar, but there is a wall in the way so you kinda need to look around the wall to see the screen, or else you have to look at the tvs on the far wall about 75 feet away. Also there were NFL games on both nights I was there and there was no sound from the games since they had a DJ playing. So basically you can't listen to the broadcast on the tv's but rather just look at the score and what's happing in the game. Would I go back again, yes, I had a great time. But be prepared when you walk out of the place at the end of the night you will be deaf and your ears ringing from how loud the...
Read moreThe DJ was extremely loud. One of the chairs had a broken leg so they brought another and that too was broken. We were told that they were renting the furniture. The waitress couldn’t hear us to take our orders. She did her best. We spoke with a manager, Troy, he was very accommodating The food was cold and nothing special. My $19 salad came in a tiny bowl that looked like a dog bowl! The beer (tap) was flat. The TV’s are so high, you have to strain your neck and you can’t hear them because the music was so loud. Not a place I would frequent. Is it a club, a sports bet or a bar casino? Too much going on it should...
