What a gorgeous, welcoming, relaxing retreat The Station is! Every single thing you could need for a comfortable get-away has been provided in fresh, modern, upscale surroundings! Every detail has been paid attention to in this ultra-clean room. The bed was so comfy, the shower was outstanding, and the kitchen is so well supplied! Stacee was so welcoming and responsive and made our anniversary/birthday trip extra special! Being right beside the Swamp Rabbit Trail was a huge bonus. Several mornings we got up and walked a mile or so to downtown Travelers Rest for breakfast. How fun! And sitting outside the room in the comfy, neat chairs watching the trail traffic go by was so relaxing! The only thing that was a small annoyance is by the nature of how the hotel is arranged, on the other side of the wall of the bedrooms are the other guest's living room(s) so if we went to bed before our neighbors did we could hear their TV and them talking and laughing. My husband and I just turned on white noise on our phones and it drowned it out and we went right to sleep (and slept like logs!). It's just something to be aware of so you aren't surprised, or upset and so you can plan ahead in case you're sensitive to that kind thing. Don't let that keep you from staying here -- honestly this is one of the nicest, most comfortable, clean, beautiful hotels we've stayed in! We can't wait to come stay again! Great job,...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming upscale cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, clean, and welcoming. The cottage itself was spotless—truly sparkling clean—which made it feel like a home away from home. It was so cozy and thoughtfully set up, with all the little touches that made a big difference. We loved the upscale modern flare.

The water tasted fresh and pure (a rare treat!), and the shower had excellent water pressure—perfect after a long day of exploring. The kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances and kitchenware. One of our favorite moments was sitting out on the front porch, just soaking in the fresh mountain air.

The location was fantastic, too. The Rabbit Trail ran right behind the cottage, so we were able to rent bikes and enjoy the scenery with ease. We also loved heading into town—it’s super cute. Coastal Crust based on a recommendation… and wow, hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! The arugula salad was fantastic too!

I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this cottage is the perfect base. I’m already looking forward to...

I have been a regular visitor to Traveler's Rest for an annual cycling vacation staying at Hotel Domestique which is an amazing experience in all regards. However, this year I came down without my wife and stayed The Station. What a find!! I loved the one floor access, kitchenette and living/dinner area. The savings on meals and lodging allowed me to hire for the first time a cycling guide, Justin Creech. I hired him for the first day ,but after exploring roads and places I never saw in previous rides on my own, I engaged him everyday for the entire week. In addition, Justin was like both an old riding buddy and coach who taught this 63 year old rider a few new tricks as well. The hotel also is in walking distance of all the great dining and breweries at Travelers Rest. The final bonus I made several new friends while staying at the Station as we enjoyed morning coffees and happy hour drinks each day out in the porch and common areas! The Station is a whole new experience in hotel stays and is top rated in every regard. Respectfully, Eric V, Major...

Our company is a veteran owned small family business and we travel together often. In the last few years our experience with stays at corporate chain hotels has been routinely disappointing and in a steady decline. Expectations for the things that matter are rarely being met. Decent coffee, clean rooms and bathrooms, clean bed linens and a friendly helpful atmosphere are the basic necessities needed for comfort when travelling, but rarely found. The Station by Compo Hotels may be quite literally the Traveler's Oasis is a desert of disappointing accommodation choices. Nestled in a country setting neatly landscaped along side the Swamp Rabbit Trail in beautiful and historic Traveler's Rest SC. Our accommodations were perfect. Quiet country wooded setting, immaculate and organized, neat and spacious living spaces, vaulted ceilings with glorious light, beautiful live edge furniture, modern kitchen and appliances, and yes...Great coffee. Our team will be staying at The Station every opportunity we are visiting or working near the Greenville Metro area. 5 Stars.

We saw The Station while we were riding our tandem on the Swamp Rabbit Trail two years ago. We always promised ourselves we would stay there if we were ever in the area again. And we were not disappointed! Comfortable, relaxing, beautiful---from the bedding to the big shower to the kitchen and living area, it was perfect. Being steps from the trail made it easy to hop on for a short morning ride or all the way into Greenville. We lucked out by staying when there was a local Harvest fest and concert just up the street. When we come back to Traveler's Rest, The Station will at the top of our list for a play to stay. Tracee was fantastic, answered our questions quickly by email.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The room (or shall I say guest house) was adorable! Modern & clean with everything you need! The swamp rabbit trail is right behind the rooms. We had a room (trail side) where we could sit on the porch and watch people go by on the trail! We enjoyed traveler’s rest and had dinner at Shortfield’s and breakfast one morning at Tandem Creperie (highly recommend…amazing!) We took the trail all the way to Greenville and hit a brewery on the way back! Also went to Greenville for dinner and a speakeasy. Very nice clean downtown!! I highly recommend The Station by Compo!! 5 stars!!
