PLEASE READ !!!!!!!! Well I’m sad so to say that I’m leaving such a low review, normally everyone in there is super nice and welcoming always telling about the word.
Ever since my mom has been “let go” let’s all face it she wasn’t let go nor did she go on retirement, bless her soul if she hadn’t gotten fired she would’ve been working there until her early 60s. She loved her job and the people she worked with and we even worked for one of there group homes and lived in there houses.
She enjoyed working, never meant harm to anyone a very loving Christian women who is dedicated to living for Christ and only Christ. There was only one person who made it difficult for her but she never ever complained about her, she would tell my siblings and I that it was an opportunity for loving that person, and that she respects them.
Ever since my mom has been working and gotten a new position in her job, this person was out to get her, I remember praying for this person, wanting to be apart of this persons life for the better and hoping god would change them for the better.
They did eventually lighten up and Bible studies we’re going on and the lord was in the place. My mom was doing her job as any normal human being would do (she had autism but she never let it get her or In her way) She would come home tired from working and with her back aching, but always left time for her kids and making dinner. We loved the kids in our home and did our best to help them succeed on what they wanted.
(STORY OF WHY SHE GOT FIRED)
My parents were planning on going to a Bible camp with some kids and my siblings so that they could teach the word, we were all excited and ready to go. We realized that it was to expensive and we would rather just stay in our local area for the Bible study. So my mom didn’t think to much of saying she was changing the location of the Bible study, and even when we changed it we didn’t change the Bible study hours or and didn’t miss a day. Well my mom talks to that person and talks about how it’s at our church instead of at the other place, and a conversation went down. My mom then told her bosses that she had changed her location for the place but still was doing tue curriculum.
The week she came back, the day she walked in. She got fired. Because of a location change, I have evidence and proof of what we did and the Bible study in general.
Nothing in there handbook states that what she did was wrong.
She was falsely accused of something and the truth isn’t coming out
Please pray that this case can be figured out!

Read moreI am giving the store three stars for it's good quality items. But it's not a five for me. I will definitely be back because I've never even owned good quality items such as what they have which come entirely from the community surrounding. But I have two qualms with this store.
First, the items are donated to you. They are donated to you for people like me who don't have a lot of money to spend on clothing, furniture, etc. So upping the price based on the fact that one pair of pants is calvin klein and one pair of pants is walmart or even Ann Taylor feels a bit wrong to me. Again, there is no profit loss to you since the items are donated - please keep all pants at the sign price listed, etc etc.
Secondly, the customer service seems a bit wonky. I was treated fairly nicely by the cashier honestly- she even liked my sweater and asked me where I purchased it. Well.... i purchased it on Shein- because again- I am not a person who is loaded with cash to buy nice quality clothes for myself and I have also been losing weight which means I need to purchase new seasons constantly right now. As soon as the cashier heard me say Shein, I got a shocked look and a "oh i dont buy from that store." This is truly not a great customer service experience or look tbh. Most of us purchasing clothes from fast fashion retailers truly are stuck and we dont WANT to be purchasing clothes from fast fashion retailers.... but it is what we can afford.
I understand shopping at thrift stores is the "trendy" thing to do right now to "save the environment" and all- but i would ask that your employees remember why the thrift store was invented in the first place. It was invented for people like me who are on a budget and need clothes, dishes, furniture, etc. It wasn't invented for tiktokers who vow to save the planet and to be overpriced. Until today, it had been almost ten years since I walked into the store. The cashiers of the past never reacted that way to something so trivial or vain. Please educate your employees on the various clientele you have walking in- including those of us who are there for the purpose of the store being budget friendly and not because we want to be...
Read moreThey are okay. Most of the people working checkout are pretty grumpy and kind of rude. I had grabbed a skirt off the rack which I hadn’t noticed had a colored tag. When I got to the checkout they made a huge deal about how the skirt had a “special” tag and implied that I had ripped the tag off. They then brought someone over to tell me the skirt was $12 and said it in a very rude way.
I still shop there so it’s not 1 star but I just wish people were more friendly and kind.
The guys who work in the back are really nice though! And have always been very friendly and helpful. And the guys shop has really...
