We stayed at IBeach Resort over Father's Day weekend (Friday to Sunday), and it was exactly what we needed for a short, relaxing getaway. A huge shoutout to Angela, who made our booking possible. The resort showed as sold out, but Angela encouraged me to check again the next day and sure enough, it became available. She was incredibly helpful and friendly over the phone, guiding me through every step. Even though we didn’t get to meet her in person, it’s clear she’s not only detail-oriented but genuinely kind. Thank you so much, Angela! The resort didn’t disappoint. It’s affordable, especially for a quick trip without big expectations. The beach is just a short walk away, and the location is fantastic! Publix, Walgreens, and plenty of restaurants are all within walking distance. Free parking is a plus, but the spots are tight, so bring your patience.LOL. We parked once and didn’t need to use the car again the entire stay. Our room (#6, ground floor efficiency) was cozy and newly renovated after the 2024 hurricane. Spacious enough for 2–4 people, with new appliances, comfy beds and pillows, and a very clean bathroom. Friendly tip: a full-length mirror would be great to have, and the bathroom mirror is a bit high for anyone under 5' tall šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø. That said, thank you for including a hair dryer! The small kitchen was perfect for our needs. Good-size fridge, 4-burner stove, and microwave (though it was a little hard to reach on top of the fridge and sideways..šŸ˜” maybe a wall shelf could help?). One of our favorite parts? The patio area. We took ownership of a table with an ocean view and it was perfect! Big umbrella for shade, the breeze coming in just right, and ideal for sipping mimosa or wine and enjoying our homemade charcuterie. That simple moment added so much to the trip. The cleanliness of this place really stands out. The staff was ahhh-mazing. Gladys and Jami checked in to make sure we had what we needed, and we saw Barbara working hard cleaning the BBQ like she was going to use it herself (respect!). Allen was full of energy, cleaning while playing music, keeping the vibe fun and friendly. A few quick tips: ā›±ļøBring your own beach chairs ā›±ļøKitchen has basics silverware, plates, cups, skillet, and a small pot (we brought our own just in case) ā›±ļøPool towels are provided Overall: Great place for a peaceful, budget-friendly beach weekend. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, IBeach! ā›±ļø

I really want to give this place a better review but, well.....The other guests were extremely loud. The girl running the front desk wasn't wearing a mask. She had to go get one even though signs said all guests were required to wear one. I also saw that she had several room keys (actual keys) laying on the counter within reach. Which doesn't usually bother me, but read on. I guess the worst part was the homeless people about 30 to 40 feet from my room door all night long. I was there alone with 3 kids so I didn't feel safe taking them by that area to get to the beach for a sunset walk. I had already heard them yelling at some other passers-by and it was also very obvious that some of them were drunk and a couple were tweaking pretty hard core. I just didn't feel that safe there. POSITIVES: The room was very clean and right by the pool, which the kids loved. The guy that worked the desk in the evening and also cleaned rooms the next day was awesome. He was very friendly and had such a great personality and disposition. I wish I could say I'd return but this place seems to be more geared to adults and doesn't seem to be as safety conscious as they were the last time we stayed there a few years ago.

So bear in mind this is an older building. It is a pretty small hotel, only 16 rooms but family owned feel They actually give you a real room key, not the standard swipe card.(haven't seen that in a while) The room itself was clean and it was apparent that renovations had been done. (New tile thru out, new toilet, new vanity, new tile surround in bath tub) There were some minor flaws. The paint on the bathtub was chipping(the tub was painted instead replaced, and that never works well), and there was a plug in air freshener in there that was cranked to 11, making a scent that was overpowering. But once we put the supplied rubber bath mat in and unplugged the air freshener, these were non issues. The beds and wifi were about average for small hotels, nothing special but useable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was apparent they had a great deal of pride in their work. The pool and beach access were awesome, plus there was a lot you could walk to. (Grocery, restaraunts, etc.) The parking area is small but adequate, away found a spot right away. Any guest can park in the beach access lot for a small fee. All in all I would stay there again, we enjoyed ourselves.

This was the second year staying at the IBeach Resort. Last year we had a fantastic time. Had a great day and night manager, made friends with other guests from other states (who we even stay in contact with). This year was a completed disappointment. Our group rented 6 out of the 15 rooms the facility had. Once again we made friends with other guests in 5 of the other rooms. However this year, the night manager Sarah was new this year and was a total nightmare! Quiet time is 10pm but we were told at 7pm to either go to the very end of the facility or out to the beach because of a noise complaint, keep in mind it was only 7pm!! We turned off our music and complied. Sarah was the night manager 3 out of the 4 nights we were there. She was extremely rude and would stare at us from the front office even asking us to not sit out in the community area talking once it was close to quiet time, our rooms were next to this area so we were not disturbing anyone close by. Honestly we felt targeted as others staying at IBeach were allowed to do this and did not receive the same treatment. Not to mention that the 1 night that we did have another night manager, it was a completely different experience. Not only did the quite time start at the posted time of 10pm, he also allowed the pool to stay open till dark. Something that Sarah did not do, she would close it by 6:30pm the nights that she was on shift. If the experience would have been the same with ALL employees then I probably wouldn’t be writing a 1 star review but given that we were treated differently tells a lot about the resort and this employees.

A few other things to point out- The floors were filthy, I had to keep my shoes on at all time in the room or they would be black just after walking around for a few minutes. Our ceiling lights didn’t work. The beds were so bad that I sunk basically to the floor with sitting on them and they were so noisy that anytime someone moved it woke up the other person in the room. The walk to the beach is nice and close They provide clean beach towels to use at the pool

If you enjoy listening to music, talking with family and friends that you are vacationing with after 7pm I would not recommend this place!! We rebooked hoping Sarah would no longer be there by next year since we heard a lot of people did not like her but after arriving back home she called to let us know she refunded our money and we are asked to not come back due to high number of complaints from other guests. If that was the true reason- don’t you think they would have told us that when they ALLOWED us to rebook for next year?? Having an issue and blaming it on other guests (whom we talked to almost all of them) is just...

The first night we got here, the staff member that greeted us was very kind and even let our kids swim in the pool for a little while since we got in a little later in the day. The following 3 days have been quite different; filled with harassment from the staff and discriminatory behavior towards my girlfriend and children. The staff that have been present are constantly nitpicking and treating our family different than others. I’m an Army ICU nurse and my girlfriend is an RN as well. We’re quite accustomed to rules and regulations but also capable of assessing before acting - something many of the staff have proved incompetent at. I wouldn’t have even wrote a review concerning the leaking ceilings, inadequate A/C units, dusty & dirty dishes on our arrival, dirty sheets, and musty towels. However, the singling out of my family is something I’ve never truly experienced until now and something I will not stand for. One example, is when we were told to place our food at the back table while other families were eating INSIDE the pool - which we were never doing. Another woman had her wine in the pool and the staff said that IS allowed; their signage states otherwise. Also, due to the additional fact that their WiFi frequently disconnects, my girlfriend had to stand right outside the gate to discuss patient care with a provider and was ordered by staff to get back inside the pool perimeter despite her eyes still being on the pool and within 3 steps of the pool itself. The staff also came and yelled at our kids for throwing lava rocks - which they were not doing. They were throwing pool divers (a pool toy) and diving for them. I urge the owner to review camera footage of their staffs’ behavior towards my family. Despite the location, I will not be returning. Hopefully the staff can learn to assess before acting and begin treating future families fairly.

Update for owner response: they were not alone. And nobody knocked on the door because there was nobody in the room. She was by the gate entryway as previously stated. After we posted these reviews things dramatically improved. However, we later found blood on our new linens a couple days later. When brought to the attention of the staff member who was on that day she was quick to assign blame and say it...
