Great location, extremely clean and friendly people. It's a hidden gem right smack dab in the middle of everything. It felt like I was welcomed into some distant relative’s home and treated just like family. The pool was nice and there were even floaties to use in the pool. The air conditioning in the rooms kept them nice and cool. Shared balconies on every floor and a smoking section on the lower level past the shuffleboard courts and on the third floor balcony. However, the smoke never bothered me or anyone else that I noticed because we never smelled it. Ice machine on the lower level to fill our cup and cooler with as well as a vending machine. Walgreens and Publix is right across the road as well as some great restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Even when the hotel was fully booked it never felt crowded. Plenty of chairs and sun loungers around the property. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Had everything we needed for a great trip. I also had a late flight and they allowed us to stay on the property after check out to enjoy our last day until we had to leave. We were able to store our luggage in the office and they gave us a bathroom to freshen up in. Much appreciated and highly...
Read moreThis place was AMAZING! We had to stay at several locations during our trip, including 2 brand name "resort' hotels and Page Terrace was THE BEST! The location is amazing. It is a wide beach, so a long walk to the water, but we love walking so it was great! We were greeted in a super-friendly way. There is a big difference with a family business and a hotel chain, it it was evident by that welcome. On one of days, my nephew and wife who live locally wanted to spend the day at the beach with us. They asked the front desk if they could park and he said they were so friendly and said they had extra spots and let them park at the hotel. I was blown away by how nice this was!! The property is older, but clean and I just loved the retro-beach vibe! The kitchenette was so useful and made our stay easier since we did not want to eat every meal out. Even though we weren't ocean front, we could still see the ocean from the wall of windows on the side. We loved all the windows and how bright it made the room. There are many shops, a grocery store, and pharmacy within walking for anything you could need. Also, NO HIDDEN FEES like the other places we stayed at. A top notch...
Read moreOur adult children are coming to visit us in May. We walked in to rent 4 separate rooms for a Thursday through Sunday. (Not a holiday weekend) The lady at the front desk said they only had 3 rooms available, as they had other guests checking out & checking in on the Saturday during our dates. We agreed that 2 of them could just stay together in the 2 queen room, and that we would be fine with just the 3 rooms. The lady then keeps looking at her ledger and says, "We'll pass. We don't let people check out on Sundays." Really????? But 90 seconds ago you just said people are checking in And out on the Saturday??!! Why did she waste our time when she knew the dates and days from the get-go? I guess they don't need the business. Luckily for them, they'll never get mine and I'll never send anyone to them. It worked out well though. We received exceptionally better service at the Bilmar right next door. It also has superior rooms and amenities, and was less expensive than the rude Page Terrace.
Update to Page Terrace's response to my review:
At no point were we disrespectful to the lady behind the desk. We said we'd take the 3 rooms available, and then she says "no." Nice...
