After a long and exhaustive day of furniture and mattresses shopping, we arrived at Mattress Firm in Westland as a last and final stop in our search for a good sleeping solution.

We should have started here.

Anthony (who typically works in the Canton store) was extremely helpful. He greeted us immediately but continued to finish up what he was working on. A refreshing change from being stalked around the store by retail furniture salespeople.

When we were ready with our questions, Anthony answered them honestly and thoroughly. After listening to our chief complaints about our current mattress and sleeping issues, he made a recommendation and offered us a demonstration on one of the display beds.. He didn’t recommend anything beyond what we thought we needed, but offered to explain the full spectrum of mattress options.

We went into the store simply to look at “one more option” and ended up purchasing a complete sleep system; mattress, adjustable base, pillows, etc. He even looked for additional flexibility in pricing for us. I’m convinced that had Anthony not been in the store, we’d still be looking for a new...

My husband and I came in looking for a new mattress, and this being our first time purchasing a mattress, we had no idea what we were doing. Kurt and Marcus were so informative and really explained the differences of each mattress well. They were never pushy and took their time with us, and we were there for a WHILE! We ended up going with a purple because it magically worked for both my husband and myself and we are very different sleepers. When in doubt, purple is the way to go, we highly recommend it! I can't say enough about my experience with Kurt and Marcus, they were great! They even got us a mechanical base at a great deal, which I was not in the market for before I came in. Leif was very nice and knowledgeable!! He was the only one in the store at the time and he juggled myself and the other 3 customers very well! I never felt that he had forgotten about me. He made the purchase process easy and was very personable!! I felt good by not being pressured. He let me feel comfortable and was not pushy, like a salesperson did at another store. I will definitely be a return customer!! An added bonus is that when I was there I had my autistic daughter with me and he gave her something that she could stim with, and when we got ready to leave, he kneeled down on her level and told her bye as she gave him back the thing she was stimming with!!
