Compass Family Resort — Hotel in Wildwood Crest

So we were invited to stay down at the hotel for one night with friends of the family we got her own room I have to say the place upon arriving was kept very clean the hotel staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly nice the outside by the pool was really kept clean every morning the staff would clean around the pool clean the chairs off they even had two grills for people to cook your own food also outside they had a little miniature golf course that you could use golf clubs that the hotel provided with a golf ball as well to play around with Our room was nice it had a full-size refrigerator also had a pull out couch and a bedroom in the back with two twin beds the only thing I would say about the mattresses you were probably better off sleeping on the floor I would suggest that the hotel would upgrade the mattresses that they do use. The rates that the hotel offers I have to say is definitely very competitive for the market that is down in Wildwood at the time and they do offer decent deals as well also the friends of the family that you stay there quite often do you get really good deals because they keep continuing to go back there so the hotel Seth does take care of people that consistently use the facilities year after year. I definitely would highly recommend this hotel for a stay at Wildwood also there are other rooms I believe they have full kitchen and that are fully stocked with all needs pots pans silverware spatulas refrigerators microwaves etc. so you can use the place as an extended stay and cook for your own family and again they do also have grills for people to use that are outside by the pool.. Only recommendations would be for the mattresses to get a better quality they are definitely uncomfortable and parking to maybe take out one or two of the parking spaces so that you can Make the other parking spaces a little wider they are very tight.. I don’t even know where to start with this place... This was a very sad situation for repeat customers. This wasn’t a vacation at all. Our family spend over 15k on rooms! You would think we would be treated in a decent manner but no this didn’t happen. We were bbqing second day of our stay and Geroge ( son of owners) came to inform us to keep it down. This was 8sh.. 9pm came around the corner here he comes again to tell us we can’t play corn hole bc them boards make to much noise. He gave us an hour lol. It’s like a mother telling you to go to sleep on vacation at 10pm on vacation. We let it go and respected his demands, but at the same time he ruined our night.. from that point forward it was complaints left and right. Don’t do this don’t do that. One day we were playing beer pong and were told we have an hour to finish lol. This was in the middle in the day. I can go on and on but this isn’t the place to have fun with your family. False advertising with there name. Compass Family Resort. This isn’t any type of resort. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This was my second year staying at this motel and we enjoyed our stay. This is a very family-friendly hotel that strives to make sure all of their guest enjoy their stay. I appreciate that they have rules which are enforced around quiet hours-this is great for families with young children and also for the people staying on the lower level of the motel. There is a common area with picnic tables and grills where families hang out-this could be chaos if the management did not make sure everyone was being respectful and behaving in a manner that respected other peoples want to not experience drunken rowdiness. I appreciated that the pool closes at 9pm-my room this year abutted the pool area, and 9pm seems like a fair time to shut it down. If this hotel was not so consistent with their rules, I'm not sure my family and I would have enjoyed such a wonderful experience at this motel. Even walking through town at night, I could see wild and crazy happenings at surrounding motels, and I was glad to return to the calm, family-oriented oasis of the Compass Family Motel.
