Pan American Hotel — Hotel in Wildwood Crest

We just finished our stay at the Penthouse in the Pam American. Aside from a tiny bump in the road upon check in, our stay was wonderful. We had visitors all week, and the hotel was more then accommodating. Every request for towels, garbage removal, to parking passes. And the general knowledge of the area was also most helpful. We are considering returning back next year, to have even more fun then we did in 2014. But if you have a large family, and you need a more house like setting, or you just want to enjoy an interior decorated house in the clouds!, It was way more then we expected. We like to travel and entertain family, this was the perfect place. Your 2 blocks from the boardwalk, and your right on the beach. A 2 min walk down to the waves. The beaches are very clean. The area is filled with mostly families, and there is everything you need usually a walk away, and worse case scenario, there are drug stores for the kids. You could not ask for a better time, then staying with the friendly people there at the Pan American Hotel. We are not ones to easily rate a hotel, a lot of thought goes into our rating process. But this place is truly a nice stay. Oh! and don't forget about enjoying an ice coffee at the pool, and the easy parking! see it just goes on and on. You also have a great little restaurant in the lobby of the hotel, which makes for a great breakfast and lunch option. We hope you enjoy your stay with the Pam American, as we sure did. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel with my aunt for the first time for our birthday week in June 2017, while at the same time having to deal with planning my Uncle's services due to his passing. From the shipping of my Uncles ashes to the hotel, refrigeration/tv issues and accidentally leaving our jackets in the closet, the staff at this hotel has been phenomenal! I have never stayed at a hotel that can even compare to the amazing service that the Pan American Hotel delivers. From the front desk to housekeeping to even the night auditor, everyone remembered who we were and greeted us at every occasion with a smile and always willing to help. Even when we called down about issues or needed something, they were always very efficient, fast and pleasant. I've worked in hotel management for years and have never seen a team able to accomplish what they do. You can tell right off the bat that they actually care about what they do and that the owners promote an environment of excellence that they should be really proud of. I will always make sure this is the place I stay when I come back to the area. Wildwood NJ is one of my favorite places to visit and thanks to everyone at the Pan American Hotel, it now feels like my second home. Thank you...

We have been staying at the Pan American for about 3 years now. When I called I spoke to Shelly to book a room. She at first did not want to give me the room based on the amount of time we were staying. I said to her fine I'll just book in line. She then said she would book the room for me. I explained to her we needed to be in the room by 1230 at the latest due to a situation. She said check out time is 11 and that would be fine. We got here early checked in at about 10:00. I called at 1130 and was told by a very nasty lady that the previous guest are NOW just checking out... Really a half hour late?? She hung up the phone on me. I get back here I deal with maryjo who was very nice. She gets us in the room by 1230. Thank you Mary Jo. Fast forward to we go to the beach. I come up with my younger son around 2. I left my room key with my husband accidentally at the beach. Mary Jo gives me the extra room key. As I am rounding the corner to return it. I hear Mary Jo and the lady who was rude to me on the phone discussing me. Yes the rooms are clean this hotel is a great location. But sadly my treatment was less then average. It's a shame.
