Sunshine — Hotel in Wildwood

I was not going to make a review because I'm really not that type of person but what was done to me and my family today was just not right at all by the hotel. I been going to this hotel for over 3 years now. An we rented 3 rooms back in july and then booked again for this week. We went down with 10 people an rented the apartment they offer which is more like a giant room with a bunch of beds in it. The water pressure was horrible up there, the air did not work it was constantly hot we had to go out an buy fans to keep everyone cool. Anyway we booked the room from friday the 31st to Wednesday morning. We spent $1500 for the apartment which again isnt much of an apartment. The shower doors were broke. Ac didnt work. There was no where to store your clothing so we lived out of our bags. Half our party had to leave monday night which we were not aware was going to happen. So me an my family my wife an 4 kids already had plans to stay in wildwood the whole rest of the week for labor day weekend so I went to the office an told them I want a regular room for the rest of the week. I said everyone else is leaving an that it would make no sense to use the apartment for another night an it be better if we just used Tuesdays night which was paid for already to just add it to the regular room an I'll pay for Wednesday to monday labor day. They said ok no problem they charged me $120 extra a night for standard room which is saying alot for the rooms because they are extremely tight an again no storage space for clothing. So they charged me $120 a night 5 nights $600 which is no bad. But since we been there my childrens toys for the pool area have all been thrown away, a pair of my sons flip flops were thrown away and all of my kids floats were thrown away. When I asked about it I got told they throw anything away that's outside. They dont believe in privacy at this motel. As soon as you open your door they are trying to get in or look in your room. They enter your room when you leave to go on beach or boardwalk without permission. They constantly go in an turn your ac off. The maintenance guy is very ignorant. Its heavy populated with junkies an the pot is ridiculous at night. We walked into our room last night to a huge cloud of smoke to the point my kids could not even go in the room because of the people smoking next door. When I asked for sheets I got told no, I didnt get towels all week thank god my wife took our own towel from home. The doors in the room dont shut all the way. You cant lock the bathroom door. Anyone walking by can see you while showering because it's just regular windows.but what really got me mad about this time at the place is 10am this morning I have 2 people banging on my door telling me I need to leave because its past checkout when i still had another night in my room. I paid for Wednesday to Monday. They charged me for tuesday for a second time an when I said they switched from the apartment to room she began to give me an attitude an told me she gave me a break on price. And not only that they had a maid go in my room an all she did was mop the floor with bleach an get it on my suitcase an clothes an then they had the nerve to tell me I owe them $20 for maid services when I never wanted it an they didnt do anything. Then they started about the smoke detector an carbon monoxide detector being off the wall an i told her I had to because they kept going off throughout the night an waking us up. An she starts yelling about the batteries an i gave them to her an she said that's not them mean while it was their batteries an she kept saying they had 10 year batteries an i said this is what was in there. We will no longer be going to the sunshine ever again they lost a good customer an everyone we took there with us. We spent alot of money there this season especially for a season with covid going on. Since june I spent almost $4000 in rental with them an each time they got more aggressive. We will not...

The motel is the most disgusting place I ever been in wildwood, hotel has disgusting smoke small in room, the bath mirror black crack everywhere, took almost 5 minutes to open the motel door because the door was in the 70 the lock is so old can’t open. If I could rate this hotel 0 star I would . They charge almost $200 a night fir a disgusting place bathroom is so dirty , water didn’t event flow right to shower, sink has no hot water, the hanger is so old and rusty we didn’t want to hang out shirt never mind towel. Toilet window broke can’t lock at all. Light at the bed no work , cable is not working at all, no plug to charge the phone I don’t know how they can pass to run the motel like this the most disgusting place we ever been. No blanket at all freeze to death at night, when we come ask for blankets she grab the blank on the floor bring for us, inside blanket is so dirty white stuff like baby milk all inside the bed and air conditioning smell like vinegar, and the draw omg don’t event think open it it smell like 100 years old so disgusting. Floor and wall crack everywhere. Room always smell smoke and she claim her motel none smoke place . If I can race her 0 star I would, I told all my friend don’t ever come to this motel ever again, the motel is so far from the arcade and restaurants parking is Ridiculous and paid almost $200 a night can’t not get a bag if ice for cooler that how cheap this lady is . She is very rude not a professional at all from running a business where there get money from tourist , the bad part was I didnot look for the reviews before I booked online if I did I would never choose this dirty motel to be in . The ceiling fan is not event running it moving like a turtle we afraid it gonna drop off on us , air conditioner was broke we had to move to a different room and move us to another room the bathroom door is broke , the front door is so poor and loosing that someone else can just get in by one click omg , we never experienced any motel worse as this one , anyone who stay in this place is only one and will never ever come back again. The worse experience and for the price we paid cant event get a bag of ice that how cheap this place and old it is. The wall has those old paint that stuck in with 4 nails so old and rusty we didn’t stay in the motel at all until the boardwalk closed we had to come back to sleep other then that we never want to stay inside. So watch out before you book cause as soon as you book there will be no refund at all when you come in and look at the reality of motel room you just want to back out but if you all ready booked they will not refund at all so , fir this price I rather pay $100 extra to stay at the end of tge wildwood crest then this place , we had our own place when we come down we always stay is call SEAHORSE INN. They are recently renovated the motel is so clean and safe and closed to the boardwalk unlike this dirt place charge so much and get crap the only reason we stay here cause the place we used to stay is booked up has nothing available otherwise we would never end up in this worse place motel. This is how dirty the blanket is and how rusty...

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Staff was very rude!!!!!!!! in the beginning, they make try to do a nice impression but my family and I just spot that something is wrong in this place.......When we check in someone already complain at the reception..... From the last review, I agreeeeeeee completely!!! Stay away from there if you want to go there with kids!!!!! Just pathology around, many drank people, Police was coming to a couple of times over there because some people were fighting ..... They talking about Policy.....hmmmmmm which they do not follow either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the website is clearly stated that you may borrow a hair drier on the request... I borrow once ( broken one, which ruins my hair) and was asking to get back after 5 minutes because someone needs it... so nicelly, I did.... later that day I need it too ( even it was broken ) She laid to me that someone stole it (bahaha) and was told that they do not borrow hair dryers and this is not mentioning at their advertisement!!!!! when I was trying to show ( especially Marry......very rude.....) she said that she would not take a look at this and do not read, even before she said that she will if I show to her when it is written! The only thing which I did wrong and apologies after that, it was swimming in the pool after closing hours...... as a manager she comes and she supposed to nice explain to me as a quest, that this is not allowed.... ( anyway, I have bad vision and could not read the sigh without glasses).... instead off she was rude and started yelling at people and me which is not professional behavior as a manager...unacceptable... and told my family that we can move out right away without returning all deposit ..... which we pay a lot for the room where we had to fix by yourself the lock in the doors, which was not closing and which is not safe!!!!!!! especially that we were with the kids!!!!! People were drinking all day long there parrying, could, not sleep... where is the quiet policy????? Also, she was bothering me all the time that someone is complaining at me ( where I was doing nothing..... have evidence on that...) and pointing at the random people from the hotel who were around and did not know what is going on..... First, is someone is complaining, she not supposed said who it was..... again, where are the policies and RULES that she was talking about all the time?!!!! One more...if you want to invite someone to visit you, FORGER, IT!!! Stupid "Policy" That no one can bring the quest on the property but she has one guy who said is a quest????!!!!!! (so who it was??? haha) Trying to find manager, on which she was talking about that she has problems because of me (hahaha) FORGET!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! EXPENSIVE, HORRIBLE CONDITIONS OF THE ROOMS (NOT SAFE EITHER), NOT WOTR THE MANY, PATHOLOGY, NOT FOLLOW THE RULES, NOT KIDS FRIENDLY AT ALL, HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY!!! ZEROOOOOO...
