Bagel Time Cafe offers a charming ambiance with plenty of photo opportunities, featuring a flowered Volkswagen buggy(in the yard) and decorative walls. While the decor and atmosphere are inviting, the bagels themselves were a bit disappointing. They tended to be on the dry side, which detracted from an otherwise promising experience. Being from Jersey, I would say these are not your typical Jersey bagel. On the bright side, this cafe boasts an impressive array of cream cheese flavors, including enticing options like blueberry, strawberry, everything and more. I opted for the everything bagel cream cheese, and it proved to be a delightful choice, bursting with flavor and making the dry bagel much more tolerable to consume. For those craving heartier fare, the breakfast sandwich special was a highlight. Piled high with bacon, pork roll, hash brown, and cheese, it delivered a satisfying blend of savory goodness that made the bagel a bit more moist and therefore more satisfying. To wash it all down, Bagel Haven serves up quality beverages. The coffee was robust and well-brewed, while the fresh orange juice provided a refreshing start to the day. Overall, Bagel Time Cafe offers a pleasant dining experience with a few standout dishes amidst some room for improvement with their bagel texture.

Bagel Time Cafe was just a few blocks walk from our motel. We went there on 7-27-22. Got there around 12:30pm and they weren’t crowded but were out of cinnamon raisin and sesame bagels. The clerk stated they are the first 2 kinds to go, so he recommended getting there in the am. They do have a variety of bagels and cream cheese. I loved it! I went with a blueberry bagel toasted with Oreo cream cheese and a plain bagel toasted with bacon, egg and cheese. Both were fantastic and I recommend 100%. They put plenty of spread on your bagel, so no need to ask for more if you like extra like I do! They also serve lunch and have other sandwiches and bowls to offer as well! Other menu items looked just as good. We are planing to go back before our vacation is over to try some. Please note they are only open from 7am to 2pm.

I’ll start by saying we LOVE going out to breakfast every weekend we are down the shore. The bill came to almost $60 (with tip which he didn’t thank me for.) and we were so disappointed. The food was so bad the kids wouldn’t even eat some of it. I ordered 2 bagels well toasted with cream cheese, 3 pancakes, 2 orders of home fries and one kids meal with three mini bagels plus a large coffee. The pancakes were the only thing the kids ate. The home fries were foul, raw and mushy. (Paid $5 each), the mini bagels were burnt so the kids wouldn’t eat them ($10.50) and the everything bagels were barely toasted and the cream cheese was thicker then the bagel. ($6/each). I’ll never go back! I couldn’t bring the good back like I normally would have because we left the island. I’ve never been here and won’t go back.

We placed a large order of 4 bagel sandwiches with egg, meat, and cheese, 2 kids pancakes, 1 strawberry pancakes, 2 home fries, and 2 iced coffees. We were staying at a local hotel, so we walked to pick it up, and take it back there to eat. The inside and outside areas of the café are really cute. The service at the pick up counter was great. The take out bag was packed nicely with forks, ketchup, butter, syrup, etc. I always appreciate that! Once we got the food back to the hotel, none of the sandwiches were labeled. That irritates me b/c we all had different orders, which means everyone is unwrapping a sandwich to look at it and touch it to see what it is. It wound up that one of the kids didn't realize he had my onion bagel, which in turn made me have the wrong breakfast as he already started eating it before realizing it was my food. I thought the bagels were ok. They were supposed to be toasted, honestly I couldn't really tell if they were or not. The one I wound up with was pretty soft and doughy, not toasty like I was expecting. The strawberry pancakes were just bleh. The strawberries were fresh, but the pancakes were so dense. The home fries are a crazy big portion, but again just kinda average. Also, we put our entire large and very detailed order in online to take advantage of the 10% off coupon. But when we clicked on payment, it said they weren't accepting online orders?!?! They should probably just disable that until they are accepting them b/c that was also very frustrating to spend all that time entering our order, just for us to have to call and place it over the...

I ordered from DoorDash for breakfast for myself and my three family members. In ordering, I asked for specific requests because my children have food allergies. The ordered arrived and two of the four bagels were incorrect. I took a screen shot of my order and my husband went back to just ask them to replace to two incorrect. The owner “did not believe him” even with a SCREENSHOT OF MY EXACT ORDER. When my husband spoke with the young lady behind the counter, she was incredibly rude and mocked him for stating he was from PA. They ended up asking my husband to pay for two more bagels for my children even with explaining the allergies. Mind you, we weren't asking for anything crazy. A dry blueberry bagel and a plain bagel with butter. We bought them solely because we needed to feed our kiddos before we left but THAT IS IT. Spend your money on better bagels, better service and better human beings. Bagels were dry and seemed to be from the...
