Starbucks — Restaurant in Montevideo

Starbucks is not known for the best coffee out there, but it’s very, very reliable. I can’t have any caffeine currently and It’s the only place where I can find decaf (and a pretty decent one). The staff is always kind. The location is cozy, comfortable and not that noisy. If you want specialty coffee, I suggest you try some of the other great options in the area (Culto and Idoneo for example). This is the best Starbucks in the city. It’s so large and both floors are nice. The employees are friendly here.

It’s so nice to sit here for hours working or studying or just relaxing. When I lived near it, I would come here almost a every day and I was never disappointed.

The only thing that could make this one better is if it was open on Sundays. Ciudad Vieja doesn’t usually have too much going on during Sundays but I think the Starbucks would still...

Bueno...viviendo por mas de 20 años fuera,y viajando mucho por el mundo,obviamente no lo encontré a la altura. Muy lentos para atender,las mesas sucias,falta de dinamismo por parte de l@s trabajadores.Siempre digo que Uruguay no es un pais preparado para recibir turismo.No hay vocación de servicio.Este país está muy lejos de ser un destino turístico,porque la mentalidad de la gente no avanza. Por lo tanto,una cosa va con otra,y la gente que trabaja de cara al público tiene ke estar bien preparada,y mas para trabajar en una cadena importante como Starbucks.
