We visited Paradise Beach Bar two nights ago and had a good time at first. But something happened that ruined our experience.
While we were there, people were walking around selling phone screen protectors. I decided to get one for 100,000 VND. The man acted strangely, blocking my view while working on my phone. I had a bad feeling but went through with it.
Later, I got a notification asking to unlock my phone with Face ID. When I did, my Westpac banking app said my PIN had been changed — something I didn’t do. Luckily, I was able to change it back quickly. I worry that others, especially elderly people, might not be able to react as fast.
The next day, I went back to tell the bar staff, hoping to warn them. After explaining to several people, we were eventually met by a man who wasn’t wearing a Paradise Beach Club uniform — he had on an Essentials t-shirt instead. When my husband asked if he spoke English, his sarcastic response was, “No mate, I don’t speak English.” He then dismissed our concerns and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. It felt like he didn’t care, and we were left wondering if the vendors might be operating with the bar’s knowledge.
While the bar itself was nice, this experience and the staff’s response left us disappointed. I’d suggest people be careful with these vendors if they visit
Editing this review to respond to the bar owner: we were there on the first night around 2 pm - 6 pm at night time and the phone screen people came at around 4 pm because I got video footage. incident with the rude person wearing the essentials T-shirt was two days ago and it was around a similar time as well. Please let me know if there’s another way to...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a place where the sun kisses the ocean and your cocktail is always within reach, Paradise Beach Bar lives up to its name. Nestled right on the shoreline, this laid-back beach bar offers stunning views, chill vibes, and a menu that surprises in the best way.
The first thing you’ll notice is the atmosphere—relaxed, breezy, and undeniably tropical. Whether you’re lounging on one of the beachside loungers or grabbing a table under the thatched roof, the vibe screams vacation. The music strikes a perfect balance between upbeat and mellow, with a mix of reggae, house, and acoustic covers floating through the salty air.
The cocktails here are a highlight—tropical, fresh, and not shy with the alcohol. Their signature drink, the Paradise Punch, is a must-try. The food is surprisingly solid for a beach bar, with fresh seafood, light salads, and hearty bar snacks that are both tasty and Instagram-worthy.
The staff are friendly, fast, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there—which makes a difference. During busy hours service can slow down a bit, but it’s hard to complain when the ocean is your waiting room.
Expect a mix of travelers, locals, and beach-goers. It gets livelier around sunset, when people gather with their drinks to watch the sky turn every shade of orange and pink.
Whether you’re dropping in after a swim, looking for a sundown cocktail, or planning to stay until the fire dancers hit the sand, Paradise Beach Bar is the kind of place you’ll think about long after you’ve left. Relaxing, beautiful, and just the right...
Read moreWe’ve previously had great experiences here, but our last time my girlfriend was accused of bringing her own drinks when she posted a bad review. I was here with my girlfriend and her mother for her birthday. We don’t have any interest to bring any outside drinks to this place, why would we??
The place is excellent on the beach and the service is for the most part up to par. But when they attack my girlfriend because she didn’t like the burger she ordered, which had seriously undercooked bacon, I’m not going to stand still.
In her review they claimed she was two people (but we’re three). And that she brought alcohol in which is a absolute laugh. We’re there with my mother in law enjoying the beach views until the rain came in and we moved indoors. The burger in question came at the same time and it was not great. I would have still rated this place a 5 if it hadn’t been for the response of the restaurant at my girlfriends review.
One thing is defending your restaurant, but defamation of customers who don’t like your food is another thing. It’s way below where anyone in hospitality should go.
I’m sad we won’t go back here, because I liked the place a lot but this hit back on my gf is something I cannot approve of.
Posting the receipt to show that we did infact have a few drinks here. Most on me, but if my girlfriend brought anything it would be water...
