Nhật Minh Hotel & Apartment — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

It's going to be a rather long review. We had booked through trip.com, and we arrived around midnight. There was some mix-up due to which our booking was not in hotel records. But I had all the details and had already paid. We had booked for 4 nights. 7th June till 11th June. I need to mention here that it wasn't the hotel's fault.In spite of not being the hotel's mistake, the night shift receptionist Mr. Quan was so apologetic that this had happened and apologised to us many times and immediately arranged an upgraded room us. But for the next day the room was not available. The day shift staff "Miss Suong" took charge and asked to continue without planned activities, and at the end of the day, we had to go to another hotel nearby. All our luggage was transferred to that hotel and, of course, with an upgraded room. We spent the night there, then the next day, we continued with our activities further. Back in the evening, our luggage was again transferred back to Nhat Ming by their staff. For the remaining 2 days. We got an upgraded room with superb Seaview. During the 4 days, time and again, Mr Quan, Miss Suong and 2 more personnel, Miss Huyen, Miss Linh and Mr Minh took care of our family personally, may it be during the breakfast, arranging for our Bana Hill trip or our beach activities. Mr. TruongThey really made us feel at home.Special mention to Miss Suong and Mr Quan. Thank you both so much. 🙏🙏Thank you, and thanks a million times to the entire staff of Nhat Minh Hotel and apartments. You are my best experience in my entire life's hotel experiences. Basically, I felt that the Vietnamese people are curtious, kind, and helpful, but you guys made my Da Nang trip the best experience of my life. I believe that at the end of the day, the people you meet make your experience enjoyable. Thank you, Nhat Minh.Now for the people who want to know about the rest of the hotel. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean, and well ventilated. The crystal clear beach is just 2 mins of walk. To experience sun rise, you can get the best view from your hotel's sea view room on the higher floors. Good maintenance. You get what you pay for. But in Nhat Minh Hotel, you get more than that.As far as the breakfast is concerned, good healthier choices but without compromising on taste. Freshly cooked eggs upon request on the spot. Many varieties, both local and continental.About the amenities, just name it, and you have it with 5 mins walk. If you want trouble free, the hotel can arrange for trips and tours. Most of the attractions around Da Nang are within VND 60000 or USD 2.40. Finally, thank you so much, Nhat Minh Hotel. Booked a room here on October 10th 2022.||Short review:|1) Bugs in the bed.|2) No soundproofing whatsoever. You can hear all your neighbors on the floor.|3) Very noisy AC.|4) Poor service.||Longer review: |It was about 5 p.m. already and I needed a place to stay a night, so searched nearby hotels in Booking. |Because I wanted to check what the hotel was like before booking (most of the pictures were computer-generated or touched up), I went there and asked about the rooms. The receptionist first showed a room on the 11th floor (#1104?), but that one had a |big moldy spots on the walls, so I declined. Then she showed the room #1004, which looked ok, plus had partial sea view. When I was going to book the room through Booking, the receptionist asked me to just pay the same price to the hotel without using Booking. It didn't matter to me, so I paid by card.|Not 10 minutes in the bed, I noticed that something is bitting me. When I checked, I had bites all over my body. Like 6-7 on my right foot only. 🤪😰|Then I went to the reception, showed the receptionist the bite marks, and told her I was checking out. She replied ok, but they were not going to return the money. Even though I've been in the room for max. 20 minutes. I asked her to call the manager. After 10 or so minutes another lady came and said they'd return only 50%: because they showed me the room and I should've checked the room conditions better before booking. |What?! How am I supposed to check the bugs in the bed?! 😳 I'm not in the habit of carrying a magnifying glass and checking the beds.|I was pissed off for such an answer.|After a long talk, a call with another manager, and another 15-20 minute wait, they decided to return the full payment.|My experience in there was awful. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. |Actually I was puzzled how this hotel has a 8+ rating? My guess is that many people just don't bother to leave a review. So I decided to leave mine, so next time someone is looking for a hotel, they will know what awaits them there.||Hope your travel will have only wonderful experiences and...

While this is only a 3 star hotel, we give this a 5 star rating because of the value of the quality of room, sea view, comfort level, bathroom area, room size, decent buffet and accommodating service of the staff.

We stayed in a deluxe king sea view room on the 11th floor and it was wonderful! The hotel had just cleaned the exterior windows, so with the floor to ceiling windows of this corner room you almost feel like you are outside with amazing views! And the bed was huge, the room spacious, the bathroom had a separate shower with a door so no “wet” bathroom, and it even had a jacuzzi tub which was new looking, very relaxing.

The daily breakfast buffet had good pho, they rotated between beef and chicken every other day. There was also fruits, fried items, hot items, cold cuts, breads, etc. Overall good.

The gym and pool were not great, but those were not items we use anyway. Pool looked a little cloudy and it was not heated, so it was cold. You can also rent motorcycles here for d100k or ~$4 per day, very convenient and reasonable.

Ms Trang and Taylor were extremely helpful during our stay and were the reason we gave service 5 stars, they ensured we had the room we wanted (beautiful!) and helped us with a local purchase of an item. But the cleaning crew for our room and the breakfast buffet staff were also super nice and friendly and effective.

Overall we loved our stay here and would not hesitate to come again. The value for the comfort and level of service was excellent and for this price range you would be hard pressed to find any better!

*The only thing we worry about for future visits is the empty lot in front of the hotel - if another big hotel comes up it may affect the beautiful ocean views from some of the rooms. But then, no one...
