Golden Diamond Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

The reception staff was the only nice thing about the Hotel. Given the 4th floor and not knowing there was NO lift! Recovering from surgery on my way home this was NOT a good thing for me,if I had of known I would not of stayed. There was mould all in the bathroom and I was NOT told that it was up to me to tell them to clean my room. It stated that the rooms were sound proof! That is a straight out lie! Also stated that there was a television with cable channels, well, there was a broken television that didn't get seen to untill day 3 of my stay then was replaced with some prehistoric thing that barely worked. Stated there was a view! Hmmm it was a view of the back of a slum apartment that was falling apart. No bowls or cutlery to even have some cereal 😕 no tea, coffee or water even. Thanks but would...

The reviews here are quite mixed but I have to say that our experience was very positive. Obviously, I understand that this is not a five star hotel, but for what it is and what you pay it is pretty good.

The lady in the reception was very helpful and welcoming towards us. We did actually ended up paying less than what initially thought as they made a discount.

The only thing I would understand someone complain is the fact that the hotel is right next and on top of a nightclub. For us it actually didn’t bother too much: maybe a combination of the room insulation and the fact that when we went to sleep, the music was not as loud as in the afternoon.

Chambre avec « salle de bain privative » alors que le staff vient et urine partout ?!

Lors de notre réservation nous avions réservé une chambre avec salle de bain dans la chambre, au final on nous montre une chambre avec salle de bain extérieure à la chambre (nous aurions dû fuir mais trop fatigué pour..) Certes, une serrure est présente mais le staff a le double des clé et cela ne l’a pas empêché de pisser partout par terre comme si il n’y avait pas de toilettes ! (Voir la vidéo)

De plus, une boîte de nuit est collé à la chambre, forte forte odeur de chicha et tabac froid très désagréable, même à l’intérieur de la chambre, ça pue fortement.

Le membre du staff fumait même devant notre chambre au lieu de sortir dehors, c’est aberrant.

Le ménage est également à revoir, pleins d’insectes à l’intérieur de la chambre, cette fameuse salle de bain a aussi été nettoyé à l’arrache avant que l’on s’installe.

Le staff n’a rien voulu entendre et n’a pas voulu nous dédommagé pour tout cela, seulement « offert » notre lessive.

Définitivement notre pire expérience en 3 mois de voyage en Asie.

Le prix est peu cher mais vous pourrez trouver largement mieux au même prix.

Bien évidemment ils nous ont fait annulé notre réservation sur Booking donc on ne peut pas laisser d’avis, la note sur Booking n’est donc vraiment pas fiable!
