This is the best cheap hostel I've stayed at in Hanoi, hands down 👌💯
For 160K/night or under 200K for two in a double bed, it's a steal.
The hostel is new and kept in good condition, the beds are stable, well equipped, comfortable, spacious and have great city views, with well-fitting privacy blinds on both sides for when you want to be alone.
There are large lockers for each bed, fold-down desks in each capsule, power sockets and personal lights. The AC works well and the soundproofing is good enough to get a solid night's sleep even by the main road.
The staff are all friendly, kind and always available to help. They offer tours, money changing, laundry services and everything else you could need.
The included breakfast is tasty and fresh, and includes baguettes, fried eggs, a variety of fruits and veggies, pancakes with syrups, cakes, and unlimited tea and coffee 🥐🍌🍍🍉🍳
The location is super handy for the old quarter, Hoan Kiem lake, the bus station, Long Bien train station and banana island.
This is now my no.1 go-to hostel for when I need one in Hanoi 🤩
The only small negative was the bathrooms, which whilst cleaned regularly, were almost always soaking wet, hot and humid and the shelves and shower head holders were in a poor state of repair despite the hostel only being open for a few months. They were also quite often full of people's wet clothes, old towels and assorted items. If this could be improved the place would be perfect 👌
Cảm ơn to Leo and the rest of the staff there. Keep up the good work and see you next time I'm in town 🙏
Note: It sadly isn't accessible for the mobility-impaired, on account of the multiplayer steps up to the lift and the steps required to access the roof where breakfast is...
Read moreI chose to stay here for 3 nights in Hanoi. I have the following points to share with friends who are considering coming to this hostel: I like the design of the bed here. First of all, you can see the scenery outside. Watching the traffic in Hanoi at night or during the day will make people feel strongly that I am still in this city. Secondly, it has a strong privacy compared to other youth hostels! The internal locker provides a key, and you can put down your backpack (mine is a 55-liter bag). If you like private capsule-type hostels, please choose to stay here! The service staff is very warm and considerate. I like the bed by the window. After telling the staff, they helped me change it. It is really rare to provide breakfast at this price. The breakfast is on the top floor. It is very comfortable to blow the cool wind when you get up early to have breakfast. The location is very good. It is very convenient to go to the old town or the West Lake. Today, I took a grab taxi to the West Lake for only 14,000 Vietnamese dong ! The only shortcoming is also what many people complain about in the comments, which is the bathroom. But the bathroom is not so dirty that it is unbearable, and there is often toilet paper available. Because the shower and toilet are together so often wet, but the cleaning staff will often clean up the garbage. I think it would be better if every customer could put toilet paper on it before taking a shower, so as not to cause waste and be unfriendly to the environment! If you pay great attention to the comfort of the bathroom, I don't recommend this place. But that's it, I don't care too much, as long as I can take a...
