A Hidden Gem in Hanoi's Old Quarter – A Perfect Stay from Start to Finish!
My recent trip to Hanoi began on a shaky note with a less-than-pleasant experience at a nearby hotel. Disheartened and tired, I made a last-minute switch – and that is when I discovered Hanoi Old Town, a place that completely transformed my experience in Vietnam. 😍
From the moment I stepped through the doors, the difference was night and day. I was warmly welcomed by the front-of-house team with genuine smiles, easy laughter, and a level of hospitality that felt deeply personal. Mr. Duc and Mr. Thang were not just staff – they were hosts in the truest sense of the word. They took the time to understand what I needed, and their local recommendations were spot-on – clearly coming from people who know and love their city. 😇
Walking into my room, I was genuinely taken aback. The online photos, while nice, simply do not do it justice. Every detail in the space speaks volumes about the pride and care poured into this intimate hotel. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed with a beautiful blend of modern comforts and eclectic vintage charm. It is clear that this hotel is highly selective not only in its design choices but also in the guests it welcomes – and that adds a truly special touch to the experience. 🤗
Located in a peaceful little alley, the hotel is a quiet escape just steps away from the vibrant chaos of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. You are within walking distance of Train Street, St. Joseph's Cathedral, great restaurants, cafés, bars, art galleries, ATMs, and souvenir shops – everything you could want from a visit to Hanoi.😌
What stood out most was the warmth of the team. From the airport transfer to the heartfelt farewell as I departed, everything was seamless and full of care. Even after I returned to my home country, Mr. Duc and his team checked in to make sure I arrived safely – a level of thoughtfulness I have rarely experienced. 💫
As much as I am tempted to keep this place a secret for myself, I believe it deserves to be shared. If you are visiting Hanoi and want more than just a place to sleep – if you want an experience, a connection, and a memory to take home – Hanoi Old Town Hotel is where you need to be. ✨️

Read moreHad a great experience at Hanoi Old Town Hotel. It is a new accomodation in Hanoi easily reachable by the position in Google Maps. The room is large, comfortable and very clean. Linen are clean, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is separate from the rest of the room. The Hotel's Team is very cooperative and attentive from the arrival / check in to the check out (option to deposit luggage for free and to arrange taxi transfer to the airport at 300k VND). A special mention to Trang: she is very professional, kind and supportive in everything needed and certainly an asset for the Hotel and a previous support for the guests. Amazing value for money. Therefore, Hanoi Old Town Hotel is highly recommended for your stay in Hanoi, also for more more than one night and for the price offered the accomodation is a...
Read moreThis small hotel is brand new - it’s only been open for about a month, so don’t be dissuaded by the lack of reviews. I had a wonderful stay here. It’s smack dab in the middle of the Old Town of Hanoi, walking distance from some of the city’s most popular attractions. The neighborhood is lively and extremely charming, no shortage of things to do and food to eat! Simply walking around the neighborhood at night was refreshing and energizing. The hotel itself is very small, but the room was immaculate and clean. It’s a family business, so guests are treated warmly. All staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. This was my first time in Vietnam and staying here made me feel welcomed beyond all my expectations! Highly recommend this hotel for your...
